This place has really gone down hill, which is a shame. We went tonight and got two basic cocktails (gin + soda and vodka + soda) and one beer and the bill was $45… I’m sorry but that is just an egregious amount of money for a non-mixed cocktail and a beer. That being said, they didn’t even have classic liquors available like Ketel One or Johnnie Walker. Plus the draft beer menu which used to include the likes of Burlington Beer and Foam was down to basic package store pours. Really sad to see, this place used to be brag worthy.

A hidden gem! Conveniently tucked away in an alley right around the corner from the Fairfield Theater Company, this is the perfect place to grab drinks before or after a show! They have a fastball draft list of craft beers and the espresso martini was to die for. Pair that with the modern-industrial decor with a hint of speakeasy + attentive bar staff and it’s a recipe for a good time. Will be back...

We had a wonderful night here! The wine selection was diverse, extensive and included the possibility of flights, which is unique and fun. The bartender was very friendly and the atmosphere is upscale but comfortable and inviting. After our visit, when we realized I had lost an earring and called to see if it might be there, the owners truly went above and beyond to search for it - and amazingly find it! They were so friendly, kind and gracious. We can't wait to go back! This will now be a required stop whenever we are...

JBP is the only true Cocktail bar & Lounge in Fairfield county. It’s been a perfect go to spot for Date night, After dinner drinks & Pre show drinks. It’s gives a great vibe, think NYC Speakeasy.
