Good store, nice selection, but holy price gouging Batman! I can't speak for the other items, but as far as MtG goes, out of every store in the area (Game King, Awesome, Table Top, etc.) Armoury is THE MOST EXPENSIVE. I realize Wizards did away with MSRP a while ago, but if your prices are $20, $30, $40+ compared to every other local competitor... I've asked around and been told by other store owners in the area that's just how the owner of Armoury handles his business and that they've always been high. To each their own, but I wouldn't use this store to purchase sealed product.
IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: You're right, they would appreciate 4-5 stars and I left them just that. I didn't leave 1 star for you, as your store does not deserve 1 star, but to defend your inflated prices with the excuse that we have to pay for your Jordan's furniture is appalling. Booster packs are 3.99, pretty standard (even though they can be had for cheaper elsewhere). Set boosters are a new item I won't get into at this point, but 6.49 for a 13 card booster seems a bit much. Collector booster packs are $25 or less everywhere else, commander decks can be had for
Read moreSelling Prismatic Evolutions ETBs for $120 a pop is just downright gross. Extremely disappointed in you guys. No better than the scalpers. You guys post on Facebook all the asking for people to come to your game nights and leagues and then you turn around and take advantage of them like this. There is no reason why you guys should be price gouging like this! If you want to prevent scalpers from buying, then only sell to your faithful customers who come in there all the time or break the seals when they are bought. I am really finding it hard to come back there when you guys are selling for double and triple MSRP (not just Pokemon either). Most people don't mind paying a little bit more to support brick and mortar stores, but not at these prices. You can trust and believe that I'm not the only person that feels this way in your store. It is easier to just buy from big box stores now, why...
Read moreI love the armoury, they have a great selection of product, really helpful employees, and the best rewards program. I have about 5 warhammer stores near me and I always choose armoury unless they don't have what I'm looking for. They are my first choice for pre orders. I guess my only negative comment is the ordering process. I want to shop at the armoury because of there rewards program but sometimes ordering from them can take anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks when GW could get it to u in a week. So it's a matter of being patient for reward points or getting it earlier from gw and not getting reward points. I requested hellions going on 3 weeks now and I don't know if they've even been ordered yet. But overall the armoury is the number 1 warhammer store to shop at and I highly recommend it to any hobbies...
