This park is tucked into a very nice neighborhood. Parking is along the street. It isn't a huge playground, however it is super safe, clean, and shaded part of the day by trees. It next to walking paths that connect to Target and wetland ponds. There are drinking fountains, benches, and picnic tables. It is suitable for kids maybe 2 or 3yrs to about 12yrs. The trails and wooded area may be more interesting for older kids. No bathrooms on site, however there are very nice clean public bathrooms at the city hall building across the street grom the gazebo. Also, you could access bathrooms down the path at the Target store. The paths around the Fairview Park are paved and easy for those with mobility issues. Once you cross the bridge the paths become dirt/bark chip. Only when it's really rainy do those paths get a bit muddy. As for safety: this park has always been very clean and safe. Mostly older people and young families. Never encountered a homeless person. However, lots of dog walkers and with It comes the occasional dog confrontation.
