Update Feb 28th, 2025
Unnecessary open houses terrorizing the gym even further. It’s a complete mess every time it happens. You won’t even find parking and it’s happening every Friday now before it was holidays.
Money laundering possibly in full effect. Water fountains still taste like fish tanks and the construction that is occurring on the turf has been going on longer than 2 months.
And the music is terrible and too loud. And fusion fresh still robbing GEN Z POCKETS
Update August 18th, 2024
What’s often too good to be true usually is. After coming to the gym on a weekly basis for months they seem to have stopped caring about maintenance. Fusion fresh is promised to be open late but often is closed and the food isn’t as fresh as advertised. Water fountain is always out of service and it’s odd enough that we are paying close to $70 a month and there is only two water fountains supporting the whole gym. Is this truly a luxury gym or is a front for money laundering because it came to Fairless hills as a whole lotta hype that has not fully delivered as a better gym than Crunch who is next door and 50-60% less in monthly price. Let me mention that in the Men’s locker room there is one small thin bench next to lockers accompanied by a tiny sauna that’s usually out of service as well with 20-30 men stuffed inside all reeking from body odor. OG Opening Day Review:
For the price point this facility (not saying gym on purpose) delivers everything you could want as a fitness enthusiast. They have boxing rings, outdoor gym, indoor basketball, barber, sauna, etc. When I visited it was also very clean. I was a little worried because it’s a big facility and would require special attention to being neat & sanitary. You’ll never have to wait to squat here. They got endless power racks with wooden platforms. They got endless bench presses. The interior lighting and design of the main gym floor is intuitive and logical. Only cons I noticed so far was a lack of resistant bands. They have foam rollers and mats but I also expected bands. The treadmills seem basic for how upscale...
Read moreThis gym is like what a poor man thinks a rich man's gym is like. It looks good, but very gaudy, and it is wildly apparent they spent all their money on the aesthetic of the gym and cut costs everywhere they could at the sake of quality.
-Half of the cardio machines do not work at all. Of the ones that do work, some are standing unevenly on the ground, having as much as 1-2 inches of wobbling space. Wildy unsafe. Told employees about it repeatedly and absolutely nothing was changed after a month.
-Powerlifting equipment is low quality. I've been to a ton of gyms, and I've never seen one that cuts costs on even their barball clips. Some of their clips are already warped, or do not even fit on the barbells. There were squat bars on the bench racks, and vice versa. Even tried deadlifting once and the bar I used was bent, laying unevenly on the platform. Went to use the kneeling one-legged hamstring curl machine one time and the peg that holds the plate was bent downward, causing the plate to fly off mid-rep. Unsafe.
-The installation of the sauna if what caused me to cancel. It is hilariously obvious that no thought went into the quality of the installation. It looks very fancy and very nice, but is wholly unsealed, drafty, and uninsulated. The heater is also insufficient, LA fitness has a heater twice the size for a room that's half the size.
Pros: The place is massive. Even during rush hour you wont feel cramped or unable to find something availible. The place has a pretty nice aesthetic as well if your primary concern is taking videos for social media. Also one of the few 24 hour gyms in the area.
Cons: Once you look past the aesthetic you see that most stuff is low quality and hasn't been thought out. Employees or owner don't care. Nothing changes. No indication of...
Read moreI visited the gym on Wednesday for the first time and had a terrific experience - ended up becoming a member on the spot. I just went into the gym this morning for the second time - the staff member I encountered was so incredibly rude. I can’t believe the stark contrast between my experience Wednesday v Today. Strictly based on the interaction I had today I will be canceling my membership immediately. I truly never post negative reviews - the facility itself is gorgeous, brand new and the equipment is awesome.. but I’ll continue to use other gyms in exchange for pleasant staff/better treatment. The staff member at the front desk should recognize part of her job responsibility is to retain members, not drive them away.
*UPDATE: I have now been attempting to cancel my membership for over 2 weeks. Originally, I received multiple calls, a voicemail and texts from the owner (TONY) in the hopes I would take down my negative review.
I have now followed the cancellation protocol, emailed the provided email address x2 prior to today, my EFT bill date (May 1st) to ensure my membership would be terminated and absolutely not charged. Although I went to great lengths to cancel my membership prior to the bill date today, I was STILL CHARGED. I again called the cancellation number provided today and the employee AIDEN told me there was nothing he could do. I attempted to call Tony - the owner who had borderline harassed me to take down my negative review… but he now will not answer or return my calls. I will be reporting FUSION GYMS to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU for malfeasance and improper billing practices. avoid signing up for a membership at all costs… they’ll keep taking your money in exchange for horrible upon horrible customer service experiences. No way is the...
