
Me and my friend order from A1 at least once a week , maybe even twice a week . When we first started ordering from there it was great . We would go on break ,call the food in and we would go pick it up . They never got our order wrong and the food was fantastic. The one week we ordered food they put shrimp in my food . I am highly allergic to shrimp. So I called and let them know that not only did they mess up my food but I could not eat the food either . So because of there mistake I didn’t eat lunch . So when I called a young lady picked up the phone and she was super nice told her about what happened and she told me that she would give me my money back and took my name and number down . Told me I could come pick it up anytime . Then a few weeks later we ordered from there again . This is where the problems begun . We picked our food up mind you we call our food in because we are on break and than we drive to pick the food up . So we get there and we pay for our food and we have to go because we get a 45 minute break . When we get back to work we unpack the food and we noticed that where missing a noodle that we paided for and the rice was hard ( not cooked all the way ) the salad was brown the sushi was not made the right way and the steaks where not cooked right . So we called in and spoke to one of the gentleman that works at the front desk . He proceeds to tell us that he does not know what he can do for us that he is not refunding us back . And was very rude . Was huffing and puffing on the phone . Like we cooked the food wrong . So he told us that we can bring the food back or deal with it . So we asked if we could speak to a higher up person and he proceeds to tell us that his dad is out of the country. So today we decided to order from there because a few girls from work wanted it . So I asked for my steak medium rare. And we get there and my steak is burnt . So I pulled up a picture of what medium rare streak looks like. Showed him and proceeds to tell me that I have two options I can sit and wait for them to cook me a new one ( Witch I am on break , that’s why called it in and picked it up and didn’t dine in .) so I told him I don’t have time to wait . I called in 20 minutes ago and asked for a medium rare steak. So because your chef was unable to follow simple tasks I have to sit there for 20 minutes and wait for you to cook a new one . No way ! So his second choice he gave me was he could void my meal and take it . Witch would leave me with out yet another lunch . The business is not ran well , things are rushed and they could careless about what the customers have to say . I should not have to argue on the phone for 16 minutes. They don’t know how to speak to there customers and admit that they where in the wrong . I will no longer be eating there . My family and friends love this place and we will now be going to the...
Read moreI've been coming to this place for a couple of years now! I can personally say that I've always had a great experience with coming here! The best time to come in my humble opinion is during lunch because dinner and any other time you're going to have one heck of a wait if you do not call ahead.
They have some pretty exotic exclusive alcoholic beverages that you just have to try for yourselves.
The wait staff is extremely friendly but I could tell that they are a bit overworked but they definitely work hard to not openly show it.
It seems like it's a very family active and oriented place. They have a nice little Koi pond with fish in it that the kids can feed the fishies right before they eat some fish which I find ironic but funny. They have a giant drum that the kids can play on too which can get a little obnoxious but I get the atmosphere that they're trying to Foster.
I have to honestly say I haven't been here for the hibachi but it looks pretty awesome when I see the plates come out. I usually come here just for the sushi because it's excellent! I'm pretty sure the hibachi options are pretty cool too but I can't speak on those besides what I see! The rolls can get a little bit pricey but they are worth it and with inflation and covid it's pretty much at every restaurant that you go to but the ingredients are very fresh and they make it right in front of you. It is worth it. If you come during lunch time they have very affordable awesome lunch specials that you can get and it will fill you up as well! This place only drawback for some people is that it can be a bit noisy because it is a family atmosphere and hibachi so loud cheering and often disorienting conversation can happen. Also since they're pretty popular their phone will ring a lot of the time that you're there but hey that's great for their business and I'm not upset about that. Read moreI’m a frequent customer, however, my experience today turned me completely off of this place. I’ve worked in customer service and if the customer doesn’t like something, you either give them their money back or offer to fix the issue. I love sushi and I’ve had it from here more times than I can count. I get the same thing every time, spicy crab roll. Today, it was dry, nasty, and had very small pieces of crab in it. Definitely move filling than crab. I brought it to someone’s attention and they brushed it off. So, when it was time to pay my bill, I told the manager, he said it’s nothing he can do because they make sushi fresh. I thought maybe there was a language barrier, so I broke it down for him. He still said there was nothing he could do. So, I changed the total amount that I pay on my receipt. Then, he got mad and said he’s not taking it off. I asked why and I started getting frustrated and said, I’ve had sushi from here before that was nasty and I barely ate one piece. I even asked for it to be remade. He refused. That is horrible customer service and I had to walk away before I became more frustrated. I definitely won’t be returning and I will tell everyone in my sphere of influence. The only good part about my experience was the hibachi part. Their customer service is TRASH! Now, I know they do not value their customers. Smh. Sn: when it was time to get soup and salad, I asked the server if I could switch out my soup for another salad. They said yes. Then, another came over and said, “extra salad?” I said, “no I switch out my soup.” Why was the “extra salad” on my bill as well.
