***November 2024 UPDATE*** The wife and kids like coming to Outback about once a month. We came tonight for our son's 12th birthday and the food was okay. My salmon looked different than before. Not quite as thick as before. More like a thin portion. I don't generally like it that way because it gets overcooked easily. Besides that nothing has really changed other than the prices but that happens everywhere. ***August 2022 UPDATE*** My wife and I ordered takeout from Outback online. Very easy to use and pickup was a breeze at curbside pickup. The food was very good. The only disappointment was the salmon was a little overcooked but not bad. We really enjoyed the food in the comfort of our own home. The Chili was spicy and amazingly good. The Nashville Hot Wings were definitely the 2nd best thing I ordered with the fried mushrooms being a close third. The order comes with bread so no extra charge which is a nice touch. ***Original Review*** I came in with my wife on Father's Day at 11am right when Outback opened. We decided on an early lunch instead of a late breakfast. We were the only ones in the restaurant besides the staff. We were obviously seated immediately. Some immediate observations were the entrance isn't really clear on the outside of the building. It faces the main street. The parking lot had garbage in it from the day before including masks and diapers that patrons discarded. A little cleaning could have been done early Sunday to make it look better. We were only given 1 menu at our table to review which makes it difficult to look at for drinks and food. The table was a little dirty as well right where it met the wall you could clearly see some crumbs as well as where the booth seat met the wall there was crumbs. Again a little more attention to detail and the place would look great. The decor was actually nicer than what I was expecting. The lighting and openess of the restaurant was appealing. The music was a little random. It went from pop country to alternate to country to pop. No real musical identity. Our waiter Aseem was extremely friendly and playful. He brought us another menu so we both could review at the same time. We both ordered drinks and our entrées. Aseem came back quickly with the complimentary bread which was delicious. Our drinks were both great as well. I had the Down Under Mule which is basically a Moscow Mule. It was very cold and refreshing. The wife had a Foster's Lager which was on tap. She enjoyed it very much. Our meals came out not much later. My wife had the Chicken on the Barbie and I had the Perfectly Cooked Salmon with rice and vegetables which was carrots, yellow squash and broccoli. The wife loved the chicken. She said it was cooked the way she likes it and was spiced well. My salmon was cooked through. I do prefer my salmon under cooked but most restaurants will not cook salmon that way. It was still moist but just in the center. I enjoyed it nonetheless. So to summarize cleanliness was 2/5, service was 5/5, drinks were 5/5, food was 4/5 and overall enjoyment was 4/5.

Giving a shout out to Speros Tsoflias, the owner of this particular franchise branch. A few weeks ago I went to this Outback branch in Fairless Hills, PA. I ordered a salad with thin slices of steak in it. The only kind of steak I've ever really had -- at Outback and at more high-end steak houses -- has been filet mignon. I'm really not familiar with other cuts of steak. The server told me the steak in the salad would be sirloin. I was told I could not order it with filet mignon. I said okay, not knowing exactly what to expect. I was very disappointed to find that although very flavorful, the meat was very chewy. I really could not swallow most of it. (Other people, especially those familiar with sirloin, probably wouldn't have had a problem with it, but I'm a petite person with a small mouth and small teeth.) The server and other wait staff who stopped by table could tell I was dissatisfied with the quality of the meat. Eventually even a manager stopped by. All were very polite, conciliatory, and apologetic about fact that I wasn't really enjoying what I ordered. All offered to bring me something else. But the rest of the salad was really good and I really felt the need to eat some leafy greens that day, so I declined a meal replacement. Then someone else came over. Initially I was a little irritated, assuming this was yet another manager. He was very friendly and seemed even more concerned than the others. He also said he could get a better cut of meat for me and said he would be back in about 10 minutes. I was really surprised by that because I had asked all of the other personnel who stopped by if I could get a better cut of meat and all had said no. How is it that this guy seemed to have the power to do what the others couldn't? A few minutes later my server, who was very good and attentive, stopped by to let me know she heard Speros was going to be bringing me a better cut of meat. That's when I put two and two together about who Speros was, having seen his name above the restaurant door several times as the proprietor. True to his word, he came back a few minutes later and this time the meat was wonderful, even though it was still sirloin. Despite it being a very busy late Saturday afternoon, Speros sat down at the booth bench opposite me, taking the time to speak with me for a while about different cuts of meat and what to ask for if this sort of situation ever happened again. I was very impressed with Speros' kindness and attentiveness and grateful that he took care of me that day and taught me a bit more about steak. And it was a lesson just in time because this weekend, I will be bringing a couple of friends who are visiting the US from Australia. I want them to see what we Yanks think represents the Australian outback and Australian food. They'll probably get a good laugh out of it, but now I am sure they will also get a good meal. My thanks to Speros and all the wait staff for caring and making it right.

My family and I have been to Outback’s in different places (states) and this is by far the best one we’ve ever been to. We came in Friday night (5/12/22) around 6:30ish for a party of 2. Although it was pretty full, we were seated immediately. Our server, Lindsey, was amazing the entire time. She was super nice, accurate, personable, attentive and just a pleasure. My boyfriend was not happy with his dessert (NY Style cheesecake with raspberry sauce, he felt like the sauce was off) and Lindsey along with a gentlemen named Chris (I think he was the manager or a lead) did everything in their power to make it right. Chris was just amazing from beginning to end and ended up suggesting the fried oreos which were absolutely amazing but his professionalism along with him going above and beyond are truly appreciated and made our date night. We need more people like Chris and Lindsey as well. We also had the wings which were very good and a glass of blackberry sangria, all so delicious. Thank you!

As it was Friday, we came early and asked for bar booth seating. We usually sit on the left side and often the bar person was our server. Last night we were seated on the right side. We have always been very happy with our food and service until last night.. My son and I were attended to right away. I asked for separate checks. We got our salads and soup right away as well as our drinks. About 15 minutes later the steaks showed up. I get the same Victorian filet mignon 8 ounces every time I come, which lately has been about once a week. My steak looked horrible , it was black and crusty looking , never had my steak look like that.I scraped of a little bit, tasted it and it made me gag. I asked the waiter if I could have another steak. He got an assistant manager and said OK no charge, The assistant manager said it would be free. This time I had to wait about a half an hour and my son was done eating, Although I have to point that he ordered a sweet potato and got a baked instead. he wouldn’t say anything but I did and that was fixed also. When the steak came, it was fine although the broccoli was cold. We asked for the check and I did get a separate check and was charged for the steak, which I paid. My son said he had to go to the bathroom and could I add the tip and sign for him. So I looked at his check. I saw on his check his steak and my steak which was the Victorian 8 ounce filet mignon the charge for it and then the comp for it , And that’s what it said comped-29.99. I tried to get someone’s attention,, first at the table, then at the bar and finally I went to the greeting desk. Young lady showed up and looked very annoyed . She could not explain why it was on my sons bill, but she said it was comped. She said the problem here was Verbage. Verbage?. I said it wasn’t because I have a bill which I already gave my credit card for signed and put my tip down. She said well I didn’t get charged for two steaks did I? And therefore I was comped one steak. By now I was pretty flustered, she looked at me and said tell me what you want as I was starting to leave She said if I leave she cannot fix anything. She was very harsh and I left. I’m hoping Outback will see this and fix it. I will keep coming back if they do. I also feel like I should have an apology, she really was very rude. I wish that I had taken my receipt home but I was so frustrated I was almost in tears and left everything on he wall. Again...
