Cancun — Restaurant in Falls Township

So let me start by saying I can’t believe that this place has been opened for as long as it has and that it needs to be re-done or close down for another business to come in and take over. Overall terrible ..Also that this will be a long honest to the point review read. So this was my second time coming the first time I contemplated coming back, but figured I would give this place another try! First off- the place is dirty , smelled and a mess at the front desk or whatever it’s called? Gross. Second the server said to us -uhh hello? What do you want? When we walked in! Rude. She was very rude also, they talk to the other employees in Spanish in front of us. Then seats us where there was like no one in there but a few . It was so dirty! So we got the chips & salsa which was surprisingly good. We ordered one meal with rice & beans and I ordered a taco salad . So the bigger” meal you pay $20 plus for is normal size but the beans weren’t beans they were liquid & everything was greasy. The tortillas were homemade it was something that you could buy in the supermarket that was cheap . My Taco salad was awful the size of my fist with liquid beans and no real lettuce, tomato or anything!! For $15! I almost sent it back but felt bad & Didn’t wanna argue because our server was so rude. It’s was smaller Then an appetizer so I finish it in two bites and ordered another thing of chips figuring it was bottomless chips and salsa and was still hungry , which all the other places give free refills of chips ! When we got the bill, we were outrageously charged then we were charged for the extra chip basket anything else they could add on and then the server kept coming to the table bothering us to pay rude. Absolutely never again! This place is not worth it. It’s dirty, not worth the money and the service was terrible. There’s so many other great places to go. I would even rather go to a chain like on the border, which is 5 times better than this place . Also I heard the health board was here for bugs . Time to re do the place or sell not just rip people off to make a profit. My honest opinion! Glad i didn’t get sick. Won’t every return. Not even for a free meal. Please...

I don’t like to review spots, but this experience was awful and I feel like this needs to be talked about.

We came in with a party of 7, 5 Adults and 2 Kids. They were empty so we were sat right away, which is always so nice!

We were looking over the menu and the food looked and sounded great! Once it came time to order that is when things started to go south.

One out of the 2 kids got food because the other one was not hungry, which is fine. One of the adults got her own food and the other 4 of us split food with eachother. 2 of us got an enteee and the other 2 got an entree, which it is common for people to split food and that does not mean it will affect the outcome of the tip in the end.

Once we said we were splitting food our servers entire attitude shifted and we could tell. She seemed to dissaprove of us splitting food when ultimately in the end it is our choice.

Once the food came out everything was truly amazing! The food was brilliant and flavorful.

Once it came time to pay she brought the check on one bill. Then we asked if it was possible to please split the bill up and then we were greeted with, “That is too much work for me.” We then asked to speak with a manager to get this all sorted out but she said that it the manager was not there. Okay that is fine, whatever.

So one of us just ended up paying and we all chipped in and paid her. The two kids were in the bathroom and the person who paid went to go get them from the bathroom real quick and the server came back to the table and said, “No Tip??” Which was SUPER rude and u comfortable to ask and the person who paid came back from the bathroom and was about to put the tip on the table, but after that we contemplated even leaving a tip anymore.

Ultimately the service was probably one of the worst services of all time. But the food was very very good. Hope the serving staff learns more manners.

I went for dinner tonight with my friends. It was very crowded because of Cinco DeMayo but we only had to wait about 20min for a table (the original wait time was 35min)! Our waitress started out great but kept disappearing and forgot about our guacamole appetizer order as well as refills on our margaritas. We had to ask another waitress to get them for us. All that aside, The food was delicious. We’ve dined here before and have never had a problem. However, as we were finishing our meals, the bus girl kept coming to the table attempting to take our dishes. We told her several times we weren’t finished and she said okay but then returned 3min later trying to take our dishes again. As we were finishing the last round of margaritas the manager came to the table to ask how our meal was. We responded that it was “great” and he said “okay, that’s wonderful but we have a lot of people waiting, so only 5min more then you have to go.” At this point we hadn’t received our check and our waitress was MIA again. I called the manager back to the table and said “we’d love to leave but we need our check.” He agreed and found our waitress. She dropped the check off. When we previously dined at Cancun you had to pay your bill at the front register. So, like we had done before, we attempted to pay the Bill up front but were told that our waitress had to take the payment. The hostess asked us to return to the table. My friend returned to our table and it took another 10min to locate our waitress and then 5 more minutes for her to process our payment. It boggles my mind that the manger wanted us out in 5min but yet it took longer to pay. The food is amazing at Cancun but they need to work on their customer...
