We are beyond thrilled with the incredible food Sugarfire in Farmington provided for our wedding! From the moment we tasted their menu, we knew they were the perfect choice, and they did not disappoint. Our guests are still raving about the meal!
The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with flavor—it was easily one of the highlights of the evening. The turkey was perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The sides were just as impressive: the dill pasta salad was fresh, light, and had the perfect balance of flavors; the baked beans were rich and comforting, with just the right amount of sweetness; and the green beans were cooked just right—crisp and flavorful.
Not only was the food amazing, but the service we received was exceptional. We had the pleasure of working closely with Patrick and Mikayla, who went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. They were both so warm, professional, and incredibly attentive to our needs. From coordinating the timing of the meal to helping us with last-minute details, they truly made us feel like we were in the best hands. Their care and attention to detail made a world of difference, and we couldn’t have asked for better people to work with on such an important day.
If you’re looking for outstanding food and service, we highly recommend Sugarfire in Farmington. Patrick, Mikayla, and the whole team made our wedding day unforgettable, and we are so grateful for...
Read moreAbsolutely love this place due to the brisket not being too fatty and the wonderful atmosphere.
They offer a hefty discount if you pay with cash, I highly recommend planning ahead and utilizing the offer. Their discount is better than what your credit card pays back.
Occasionally it seems like everyone wants BBQ on the same day and the wait time during the lunch rush can sometimes push a person over their lunch break time allowance.
Watch the younger staff, they like to handle dirty cash money with their gloved hands, then go touch the meat with those same gloves. It’s a training and mindset thing, the gloves are not there to keep the staff clean, they are used to stop cross contamination. Wearing of gloves causes people to be less conscious of what they are doing with their hands, gloves can be a bad thing.
I like the tray method with butcher paper, something different when compared to other restaurants. The coffee BBQ sauce is good, I think it has real coffee grounds in it. When finished, you can quickly buss your own table while walking out the door. No tipping is required at the table, but they do have a tip jar at the register.
This is my personal opinion of my experiences at this restaurant. I highly recommend this Sugarfire even with the concerns that...
Read moreSome of the food was good some was terrible. I had the pulled pork sandwich. It was pretty good. I didn’t like the honey bbq sauce very well that I put on it. I liked the St. Louis sauce better. But nothing beats Bucees pulled pork sandwich. Those are to die for. Sadly I don’t live near a Bucees. I also had the potato/hashbrown casserole. I’ve always liked hashbrown casseroles but this one has pimento cheese in it which was gross. Would never had ordered it had I known it had pimento cheese. Yuck. The cinnamon roll pie shake was fabulous. My husband had the beef brisket sandwich. It was slices of beef and he said it was so burnt he couldn’t eat it. Those who had Mac-n-cheese said it was good. But I’ll bet it was made with pimento cheese too. So if you don’t like pimentos I would not get anything with cheese. I don’t live near any of these restaurants, but if I did I’d only get the cinnamon roll shake. We had gone to this restaurant because it was my husband’s brother’s favorite and we were there for his funeral and his daughter wanted to go there. Not horrible, but not good enough...
