Several months I was sick went here parking lot empty I pulled in and parked started walking to door, well before their posted closing time. Someone actually ran up locked door right in front of me and closed door shades.
I just drove here again today for my son from out of town. Got there at around 715 , parking lot empty. Waiting room empty. Tried to get my son seen as he was getting sicker and running fever. Went in was told they couldn't see him. I asked why not. Said we'll they had closed at 800 pm. I ok but it's not 800 p.m. Was told I could make an appointment for tomorrow. Told them we live a town away, I have to work Tomorrow, I came here because it was convenient or walk in care. Was told they were just too busy they couldn't see him. Told them I could tell from the completely empty parking lot. Was told they would check with Dr. Came back said hry wouldn't take any one. I could come back tomorrow.
So I guess they are the DMV now an close before they close.. Or if they are completely empty they just leave early.
Wondering when convenient care places started requiring appointments. If threy require an appointment is it really...
Read moreMy husband took my son (21 months old) to be seen after being called by his daycare that he was running almost a 103 fever on 10/31/23. They were turned away and told to go to Midwest convenient care all because their lunch break was in 20 minutes and they didn’t want to go late. We try to always take our son to a BJC facility so all records are seen by his PCP so this was a huge inconvenience. Also, this other place had never seen him and don’t have any of his records. This was so disrespectful, unprofessional and immoral. They ended up prescribing him a medication that he had a horrible reaction to and we had to call his PCP anyway! This turned out to be a bigger ordeal than it should’ve been had they just seen my son quickly. It turned out to be a left ear infection and would’ve been a quick visit. I cannot believe an office of medical professionals turned away a sick patient so they wouldn’t be late going to lunch. Absolutely abhorrent behavior. I work in a doctor office and I’m late all the time going to lunch and home it is part of the job and a risk of being in that profession but your patients come first. This is absolutely ridiculous and...
Read moreThis is not so much a review as a suggestion for them. Their hours state they are open 8:00am-8:00pm, that is not exactly the truth. I went there today around 11:30am and was told that they had stopped seeing patients for this morning but come back at 2:00pm and I could be seen then. That makes absolutely no sense to me. I don't understand why a convenient care clinic would not see patients for several hours. How is that convenient? I feel they should update their hours to reflect the times that they are not seeing patients.
I went back this afternoon. I arrived at 1:50pm, went inside and was told that they were not seeing patients until 2:00pm. I asked if I could wait inside until then and was told no I had to wait out in my car because there was no provider in the building, mind you the door was not locked, you could go in you just couldn't stay in.
The care I received when I was seen was good. I have no complaints about that. I saw Christine Herrington, I have never had a complaint about her. She does a good job, thorough, makes sure I understand everything and asks if I have...
