Don't go here to buy dress clothes or shoes for men. Everything is really overpriced and made of plastic. I found 2 styles of dress shirts that were made of cotton and 1 style of dress pants that are 60% wool and 40% plastic. It took forever to find because there were no employees to be found. Everything else was 100% plastic for outrageous prices.
The shoe sizes are very limited and are all poor quality except for the Clarks. I wasted an hour trying to find shoes and then trying to find an employee to ask if they have other sizes in the stock room. I ended up going to different store for shoes.
I should have used the website from the beginning to check what kind of plastic crap they sell. I feel like the whole store is set up in a way to sell you a piece of plastic for $300 while having no customer service so that they can maximize profits. Maybe if they offered products with some value and some customer service they would have more than 2 customers in the men's section. I called to confirm delivery of 7/22 and they told me only my box springs would be coming. They then told me my table and chairs are in, but they are in Chicago and they will only deliver to Ohio on 8/10! Also the bedroom set is now backordered until 9/6 at which point it will take 7-10 days to receive and another 7 days to set up delivery (which they only deliver to my area once a week). No one from Macys called to tell us this was the case. No one bothered to send an email either. So rather than communicate, they let us figure it out for ourselves- TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Then they said they couldn't get the table any sooner. And did not seem to care at all that we were canceling our entire order! Absolutely poor customer service. Read moreI really do like Macy's. This review is simply about my last visit and the customer service (or lack of). I went to Macy's last week to find a new fragrance for myself. I approached a counter with the scents I adore (Versace) and start testing them our. The employee there was talking to a gentleman that may have worked there or was delivering something. He was NOT a customer. I waited for 15 minutes on her and she never acknowledged me! Not one single time. I was 5 feet away and the only one there other than the gentlemen she was chatting up, yet she was too busy chatting up the guy to worry about doing her job.
