Folsom City Senior & Arts Center — Attraction in Folsom

This place is Prejudice against Me and my Wife, the ONLY Black Senior Couple U.S. Citizens in 2025 Black History month of the 2 Years we've been coming here! On a sunny February morning, I was singing a Black Gospel song, "Hold On, Change Is Coming" to keep my spirits up and was told I was too loud , when a Persian, who was NOT born in Free American has the gaul to do a gesture of "Be Quiet" as if I don't have My Civil Rights to sing loud, but Kasseb, the Persian can argue loudly in a Pinukle game and actually admit he's Miserable😖 in this Senior Center! Why is it I have to just "ignore" him and I get Suspended from this place after 2 years of coming to just relax and have a cup of Free coffee ☕ or tea🍵 charge up my phones?! My wifey of 35 years which All those lonely old widows & widowers are very jealous of was waiting 2 years to get a 🎨 day to do Arts & Crafts to show her talents which ALSO caused animosity from Gail, another disrespectful Discriminater, along with Dave in Black History month of my wifey of Her 69th Birthday!🎂I don't think the New staff Daniel, who is the head after Nadia were not ready to handle the disrespectful Discriminates who act as if we don't see that we're the ONLY 2 Blacks in the center since 2023 when we were first signed up from Barbara, the Head of staff at the time! She kept Kasseb, Gail, Dave, Sharon and Any of the Miserable Conspirators out of this center! Now that she's Retired from this misery, she looks a lot better now then when she was around all the Ignorance...

Wow, I feel so lucky to live in Folsom where I can take advantage of the great classes and services for seniors. They have an excellent array of classes, instruction, events, and best of all the Art Gallery. (See photos.) I also attend free guitar (Thursdays) and free ukulele lessons (Tuesdays) at the center. NICE staff people too. They are always eager to help and...

Very clean well kept building with art exhibits, large meeting rooms, and recreation room. Check their activities that are often free to seniors like the Tuesday...
