Took my son out for his birthday dinner. He ordered rib eye w/lobster.my hubby had Boneless 18oz rib eye,2 sides of asperagas& me shrimp & pasta. Well there was no lobster with my son's order. My husband got rib eye with a bone IN IT that was GRisley ,one order of asperagas that needed the ends cut off because they were like eatting straw. The other side was missing also.We decline to wait for the waiter to fetch him lobster after we waited so long thinking it would be there soon.My son asked to go to Outback as we usually had great food there but this left us wishing we went to the Texas Road House instead. Also FYI. What ever tomatoe your using in the Bloody Mary's is awful, you need to rethink that cuz it's the worst one my hubby has ever had.Sorry to say .I did. Like my shrimp & pasta it was very good but in lite of the other food ordered I fill like you have failed us miserably.I am not sure but I think we were over charged for my Hubby's steak , the lobster was removed from the bill..All in all it was not the HAPPY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION WE HAD IN MIND.I think if our waiter wasn't so busy talking with the bar tenders & the hostess he might of got our order right. He was polite but seriously lacks attention to his orders. He can't seem to get them correct. It was a slow Wensday evening ,I bet Friday & Saturday will be a hot mess for your...
Read moreThis is the place we take all of our out of town visitors. It's a gem in Folsom. Even all the attention from their "best bakery" status hasn't changed the family feel. They know my face whenever I walk in the door and they are often generous to throw in a little freebie. We recently took a road trip across a major part of the country, trying donut shops along the way and I can honestly say, the freshest, most melt in your mouth donuts come from BJs. Once they gave me a plain yeast donut rolled in sugar. Usually that's not really my thing but I could tell it was fresh and still warm so I gave it a shot. I could have eaten that thing plain! It's a testament to the quality of BJs that the dough itself is so perfect that it doesn't even need a glaze or sprinkles or anything! I would really like to see BJs in a facility that matches their quality. The place is pretty basic which gives it a quaint feel but a bit more space in a more central part of Folsom would give them a boost without overloading them. Property managers should be beating down their door to get their...
Read moreExcellent donut place! I went in with high expectations cuz people be raving about this place. And my expectations met and exceeded!! Service is friendly and so attentive. I ask a few questions since it’s my first time there and she was so patient and gave super good recommendations too. I got the cream puff which is so delightful, a ham and cheese croissant which is buttery and savory ooooof so good, a simple glazed donut which is soft and airy and a strawberry donut which is cake like in texture and deliciously sweet. To make things better she threw in a few donut holes for me. A few didn’t make it home cuz I couldn’t wait. They are so good too! And fun to eat. Another thing I wanna point out. I really appreciate the attention to detail. If you see the photo, she barriered the powered sugary cream puff from the savory item. Everything is also placed so neatly and just so nice to look at before digging in. The place is not big which gives cozy vibes. Very clean, the display case is shiny and arranged so...
