Dream Day Spa — Local services in Folsom

I went for the full spa experience yesterday and have to say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I started with a facial with Alexa. She was fabulous. She worked gently and phenomenally, using products that left my face feeling smooth and silky even through the night into today. I was so relaxed after that experience that I fell asleep on her table. The music and ambiance was phenomenal in her room. From there, we moved into the sitting room where there are couches, comfortable music playing and refreshments served. I don't know where anyone can say negative things about this room as it was comfortable, clean and very warm. We sat there while Kaylee, the spa assistant worked incredibly hard to give both myself and my best friend a foot exfoliation. So wonderful. The hot stones in the tub felt wonderful and having her use the sugar scrub on my legs felt amazing. From there we moved into the massage room where Gigi did a massage that was, to say the least, the best massage I have ever had. I don't handle deep tissue massages, so she made sure that the massage was one that I could handle and took note of the fact that I have had multiple knee surgeries and was extremely gentle through those areas. She took her time and did not seem rushed at all. Mind you, she did multiple massages during the time I was in the salon, yet she acted like I was her only client. I was very relaxed and comfortable and couldn't have asked for better. From there we had a great lunch that was just enough to fill us both perfectly...a yummy half sandwich and a beautiful salad with a few glasses of champagne to boot!

I read a review before I posted this one, and sadly, it wasn't the best. I'm not sure where she was at, but she certainly wasn't where I was. Megan, the owner came and chatted with us and really made us feel at home. I'm thinking anyone who doesn't like this place and is looking for some snooty, nose-in-the air type of place, well this place isn't for you. This is a warm, comfortable place where the staff makes you feel at home and like one of their own. You don't want that, perhaps you should go to Rodeo Drive or somewhere else where they treat you like that...not the way I want to be treated. Great job ladies, keep up the good work and I will...

My daughter and I had a wonderful day long experience at this spa. I received this as a gift and decided to add on my daughter. We thought for a moment our special day was going to be cancelled by the spa due to someone calling out sick or what not but the spa came through and were able to keep us on the books. The spa is in a small quaint old town folsom building I assume which was once a home, 2nd floor I did not see any wheel chair access. The decor is pleasing and the smell is nice. For our package we were offered drinks and snacks which were lovely. The lighting was dim and comfortable. We enjoyed the steam room as well as body scrubs, facials and Swedish massage. We elected to have our lunch on the outside patio. It was set up very pleasant and private plus the sandwich and salad tasted great. They offer an infinity tub which was an extra treat. The ladies all were very friendly and talented in thier skills of skin care and massage. The customer service was also pleasant and welcoming. It was nice to see my daughter and I's name on cute little papers draped over our robes when we arrived. It was a great experience that I hope to experience again someday. I would say since we were the only two customers there for the later part of the day it made the experience better because we were not running into or sharing any spaces with other customers. Spoke with the owner Megan and scheduled an appt. She was very informative, nice and professional. Came to the spa and when you walk in it smells so good and very clean and organized. The 2 young ladies of so sorry I forgot your names. I will remember next time. Anways they were very welcoming and I was given a little tour and met couple of other ladies that were customers. They told me about how wonderful the membership was and I was provided with a mimosa...Tami was there and we all had a great conversation...When I first scheduled I did explained what I wanted and what parts of my body that need deep tissue message. So Tami had me changed and get started with the message...and the room was so peaceful. Tami was really good with the message since I have chronic neck and upper back pain and neuropathy...omg I'm in heaven she would make sure I was ok with the pressure less or more. I would let her know. It felt good, when all done I ended up getting the monthly membership...I am very pleased to say I found that message place and it is a day dream message because the next day.I was still feeling like cloud nine..I will take pictures next time. Don't let reviews scare, come and try them out yourself then you would know.
