HomeGoods — Attraction in Folsom

We've been to most, if not all, of the nearby stores selling the kind of distressed merchandise sold at this HomeGoods store in Folsom. We are not bargain hunters by nature but when we have spare time it's fun to meander through these stores, occasionally finding a useful bargain. But, of the lot, this store is unique! It is the tidiest, cleanest, best organized and best lighted such store of all. You can see exactly what's available without having to move the goods or being worried that merchandise will crash to the floor if you do. My wife and I experienced extremely unprofessional behavior during our recent visit to the store. Despite spending an hour gathering our items, we encountered numerous issues. At 9 pm, the cashier announced they were closing at 9:30. As we were finalizing our selections, our shopping cart was stolen by someone on the staff. When we inquired about it, the cashier mentioned that their staff likely took it. To our dismay, we discovered our items scattered across multiple staff carts being hastily returned to shelves. It was clear the staff were rushing to close despite the advertised closing time of 9:30. We managed to retrieve some of our items, but the entire shopping experience was a frustrating...

Went in for an interview and they had me wait over an hour past the scheduled time. If this isn't convincing enough of my 1 star review, they never called me back after the interview saying if I got the job or not, and when I finally called twice- one time, a worker promised to call back when the manager was there and apologized for not calling but still never did; and the second time another worker just told me that the manager wasn't there and there was nothing they could do to help me.
