The Donut Shop — Restaurant in Folsom

First time French kisser here, and I gotta say, wow! The hype is real. Gotta get there early before they sell out, and it’s worth it. The delicate cream inside the powdered sugar coated puff pastry is excellent. My first French kiss I did in 2 bites. Recommended over a plate because it ain’t clean to eat…but enjoyed as a single bite, it’s clean and delicious. The regular donuts were tasty, and the folks working were super friendly and nice too. One thing I noticed, but didn’t order, was the selection of signature donuts like bacon maple and crème brûlée…they looked tasty, but our mission was for French kisses. Mission...

I went here a few times before never had a problem. I had Andrew assist me and was evidently having a bad day. I asked him for two chocolate bars, and I pointed to the two I preferred, for some reason that irritated him he took the two out I selected and tossed them on the top rack. I asked him why he would throw my food. He told me he wasn't interested in what I had to say legitimately this is truly what happened. I told him if he did not want to listen. I was driving around Folsom and all of a sudden got a huge craving for a donut. I pulled out my phone and asked Google for the nearest donut shop.

I was led to this donut shop. I really wanted donut holes but it was late. This donut with brown stuff caught my eye. I found out that this was a maple bacon donut. I hesitated before purchasing, but decided I really wanted something sweet.

I bit into a piece of magic... the donut melted in my mouth and the combination of salty and sweet took my tastebuds to another level.
