I booked a session to get an arm piece done. I was assigned an artist and paid my deposit. I showed up today for my appointment and was greeted by a sweet woman behind the counter. My artist came around the corner, interrupted us and said hi, did not introduce himself, and pulled up an ipad to show me the design. He kind of seemed uninterested and did not care to be doing this tattoo. He said he would "add more dots and dangly things" like I had suggested in my reference photos and made a comment about and existing tattoo that I had that was "non traditional and hard to match" . He said he would add some more things while I filled out paperwork. I felt uncomfortable. He wasn't personable or engaging. I have over 30 tattoos and have never felt this way showing up for an appointment with someone before. I didn't feel confident in the design and having him do it, so I approached the woman to explain myself and that I would like a female artist with more of a feminine touch. She said she totally understood and would get me situated. He came around the corner to question me on this and I asked him to give me a moment to speak with her as I was uncomfortable and he made a face, and walked away. I was rebooked with Heidi for a future date and left. I received a call shortly after to discuss the deposit I had paid. The woman on the phone told me that because I didn't cancel or let them know 24 hours in advance $100 of my deposit was to go to him for the drawing that he did and the time it took. How am I supposed to let you know that he made me uncomfortable 24 hours ahead when It just happened? It felt like he had thrown together a drawing moments before I showed up and I did not feel comfortable getting a 3 hour permanent tattoo by this person. I was more than happy to switch artists but I do not think I should be out money because I wasn't okay with his design or him tattooing me. I should just get what he made regardless of how he made me feel? I thought the phone call was to apologize for how I felt, not to tell me I was going to have to pay more money to see a different artist. I cancelled the rebook and will not be going here. It's not even about the money, I am out the money at this point. Its the poor customer service and how uncomfortable I felt through this...
Read moreDON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE!!!!!!!! Worst customer service I've ever had! I did have my piercings done here so I would obviously order my jewelry from here. I ordered the jewelry from them March 8th for a trip I was going on in April from the 17th to the 22. When I placed the order for the jewelry, the guy working told me that the jewelry would be here in 2 to 3 weeks or a month at the most. Five and a half weeks later it was almost time for my trip and I still hadn't heard anything about my jewelry so I called them. They said the jewelry had been on back order and they should be there within a week or two and I told him I couldn't wait for a week or two so he told me they would have the shipment expedited so I'd have it before my trip. Obviously didn't get here and they told me there was nothing they could do. The day I was leaving I told them I wasn't going to need the jewelry anymore and I wanted my deposit back and the guy on the phone said "The only person that can refund your money is Ryan and she isn't here today." Then he hung up on me. When I got back from my trip I decided to just wait for them and still nothing. The only person that knew about the jewelry orders was Ryan and she was never available and never called me back. I've called three times a week for 9 WEEKS! I finally talked to Ryan today to tell her that I ordered the jewelry from somewhere else and they would be here today so I would like my deposit back and she just told me no. No customer service, they always lied to me and said " The jewelry should be here next week with the next shipment of jewelry." and it just...

Yup, so do I. I still can't stop looking at it and admiring what a professional, fantastic, and perfect job that Kayla did for my very first tattoo at the age of 45. (Note: I highly recommend waiting until you are absolutely sure of what tattoo you want permanently put on your body. In the Navy I was going to get Winnie the Pooh on my ankle but a true friend convinced me that wasn't one I wanted to explain to my grand children in my seventies.) My tattoo is of the Cross of Christ with a Tiger Lilly butterfly and 2 Cor.5:17 to help me never forget the price He paid to set me free. The butterfly signifies transformation and it's also the state butterfly of North Carolina where I am so grateful to be back. :) EVERYONE at the tattoo office was friendly and helpful. The place is spotlessly clean and that's a group effort that I witnessed. Kayla... So friendly. So personable. So knowledgeable. So encouraging. So honest. A perfectionist. (Which is normally not a good thing, but a plus for a tattoo artist. Even when I gave the go ahead for the bible verse under the cross, she said, "No, I don't like it I will do it again." The fourth attempt was the winner.) How much would I recommend her? I live in North Carolina, but I am contemplating going back to Fort Collins, CO for tattoo #2 to be done by Kayla. She is passionate about her tattoos and her clients and I would highly recommend her!
I am still...
