I would give 0 stars if I could. I returned almost $100 of unused products. Some were through mailing and some were through pickup. After leaving the store, I checked on the process of the return. It said, unable to process items until items are returned to store. I was completely baffled considering the fact that minutes earlier, I handed the items to CHRIS and even put my debit card into the machine. He never handed me a receipt. I had to call the 1800 number three times as it kept dropping my call and sit on the phone as they told me they had to call and confirm that I indeed returned the items. My friend had to get on the phone when I returned home because I was so upset. Initially LASHAWNDA, the manager, got on the phone and couldn't comprehend what we were trying to explain because they didn't even understand the error messages associated with the pick-up app. If you are a manager of a department, especially a reputable store like target, I would assume you would be able to understand where your employee made the error. She didn't even bother to check if the items were indeed in the store. She finally put CHRIS on the phone and he acknowledged that he did in fact receive the items. He told me that I would have to RETURN to the store, check the surveillance footage, and bring my card that I used to make the purchases. NO ONE BOTHERED TO LOOK AND SEE IF THE ITEMS WERE IN STORE. He told me the error message was because we had to wait 24 hours for it to process, even though the 1800 number told me it showed they didn't receive the items. We were both so frustrated, we asked for the manager LASHAWNDA again, and FINALLY it process the refund magically. Not only that. I've used their drive up and sat outside for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to come out. Management clearly is lacking resources and knowledge about the app and so are employees. Severely understaffed store. Shame. Always problems. As a single mom I thought this was a more convenient way of shopping. Save the hassle. Update: Still isn't returned properly. Apparently they are expecting me to go to the store and reshow my debit card and check surveillance. Now I'm going to pay an uber to go to the store because my car was totaled 2 days ago. Update: over 24 hours later, now told me I had to wait 3-5 buisness days in order for the refund to be forced through with the technical team. Offered to throw me a 20 dollar gift card as an "apology" because their associates don't know how to work a register and an app where all you have to do are scan barcodes. They also just wanted to placate me and not even take my complaint seriously and assured me I wouldn't have to call any more and that their team would hand the issue. Apparently, this company doesn't care about their customers, the only want to get them off the phone, they don't want to hear LEGITIMATE complaints. I was a loyal customer, after dealing with this, I will never go back to this store again, or used their...
Read moreI used to love coming to this store, its close to home and a convenient stop from work to home. Thursday afternoon I stopped by to grab some grocery items. I went to the self check-out, the very first terminal on the right hand side. When I left I left a bag of cheese and fruit at the terminal. I got home and realized my mistake, checked my trunk again, as it wouldn't be the first time I missed a bag. Nothing. So I called after I made the mistake to see if anyone had turned anything in. Mary, the lady on the other end assured me if I had my receipt they could replace the items. I really appreciated the reassurance and was happy the mistake was made at target Instesd of Walmart, because I knew they wouldn't have handled it like that. I come in at 9 PM after the gym and had the EXTEME DISPLEASURE of speaking with a short Male with a thick NY accent named Nick. Aside from being loud, abrasive and pushy, this man had the audacity to come out and say they reviewed the camera footage and that I grabbed all my bags. This is a false lie and now It's being implied that I'm lying and that I'm now attempting to steal the items i already received. I ask him which terminal i was at if they reviewed the clip and he didn't answer. I stated again that it was impossible that he saw me leave with all my bags because I DIDNT. He then said "well you know it's possible that you left without it.'......... Ummm. Okay.. so if it is possible why did you state that you saw me leave with all the bags. From point A to point B that makes no sense. I state again it is impossible and he tells me he is just reporting what his security team is telling him, that's a piss poor answer and shows a lack of leadership entirely. I'd like to see the video Nick saw, because I believe he lied and saw no video, because if he did he would have seen my bag that was left. If something is possible why say that you saw it happen? The total of groceries Target had to replace for my silly mistake was $12.. the future business they lost due to Nicks gross mishandling of this situations will be thousands. I've also closed my Redcard account due to the situation. It amazes me the way the customer service at Target has gone down hill, especially at that store. I'm so disappointed that he was too lazy to either review the tape and to worsen the situation made a frivolous comment accusing me of lying. I'd like to see the tape. Nicolas shouldn't be in a position management. Abrasive, loud and incompetent arent great qualities for leadership. Maybe that's why the team is lacking the zing they...
Read moreThe Target staff had difficulty processing my order and basically couldn’t find $130 worth of products that I paid for but didn’t receive. I then had to wait an hour and a half for the first manager to figure it out. She resolved some of the issues, but not all of it. Then the second manager was called and was also on break and din’t come out for another hour. I was in line for over three hours and they still didn’t resolve everything. Later, I was making returns and retelling the earlier events to my friend on the phone. I was getting angry and raising my phone. I attracted the attention of the two security staff. They started to tell me to calm down and say that I was disturbing the peace and acting irrationally. I told them to back off and leave me alone and that I’m just talking to my friend and that they need to leave me alone or I’m going to get even more loud and upset.
They continued to tell me to simmer down, and then the called the cops on me. The cops manhandled me to the ground by the self-checkout and handcuffed me, and I still have bruises on my leg from the incident that happened over a week ago. I am a 115lb affluent stay at home mom who has never had an altercation with law enforcement before. And, I blame Target and their staff for being so incompetent and holding me hostage there for almost 10 hours without so much as offering me a bottle of water or a banana so I wouldn’t faint. It was a horrific experience, and I will never step foot in another Target again. And I hope you reconsider as well. As far as I can tell, nobody there is being punished for their role in what...
