This store is perfectly located in a small mall with Target, Gamestop, Marshalls, Homegoods, Ross and more. This TJmaxx is clean, plenty of staff (though the actual customer service is lacking)
I went into this location today and had the most bizarre interaction with the LP. There is a short heavyset one that has always taken their job a little too seriously and an older lady that always seemed a bit off, but friendly. We've said hello and politely had conversations over the years. Today I noticed she was dressed in all black with a military style vest with pockets all over(you know the type). Well I said hello, as I had many times before. She said "Hello Sir" in a rough time and when I said I hope she was having a good day, she reported with "Was there something I could help you with" in an off put tone. I asked if she remembered me, because I come in all the time and that wasn't how she normally spoke and asked her if with the new uniform she changed positions. She then went on a whole thing about her many positions in the company and again asked what I needed in a tone I found bizarre, given previous interactions. All that I can get over. My real issue is that after I walked around the store, as I was leaving her and the short cross-eyed security were talking rather loudly about and how they weren't there to have conversations. Neither am I. Been shopping there for years. I don't normally say more than a friendly hello. You two seemed fine having a conversation about a customer on the sales floor where anyone, including the customer could hear. You want me to come in and get my stuff and go, fine. Unless I see something amazing, I'll just buy it from...
Read moreI was just insulted by another customer while waiting in line to pay for my things a couple of minutes ago (Monday, March 22nd 2021 at 9:30$. An old man behind me was not respecting the space marks on the floor designed to keep the social distance between us. I kindly asked him to move back to his spot and he started shouting at me using bad words, and telling me to move up, turn around, and never tell him to move again. NO employee in the store did anything. When it was my turn to pay, I asked where the security guards are.One of the cashiers said that there was no security working in this store and the other one(in a very rude tone) said that securities are not available 24h in the store. She said that if something like this ever happen, I have to call an employees attention or nobody would never do anything. I told her that it happened right there in front of all the cashiers and she asked the cashier that was taking care of me if he saw Something (like if she was doubting my words). She also said that they are dealing with this for a year now and that people just donât respect the safety guidelines. I felt twice disrespected and just left without purchasing the at least $100 that I was going to leave there. Iâve been Living in this area for probably longer than she has this job and that is why I never saw her before. I am done with this store for sure! And if this were a serious town and state this store wouldnât be opened anymore. Two weeks ago a lady closing the store almost dropped the closing door on my babyâs stroller. Itâs just too much!!!! The employees that work in this store now do not care about its customers at all. It was never like...
Read moreWell where do I start...when I walked up to the register and saw who my cashier was I already knew I was going to have an issue and I will explain why..Barbara at the register had an attitude of hurry up your wasting my time, she did not acknowledge me when I said hi. I mean isnt it common courtesy to just say hi back? She was looking at me like what do you want? Do yall not train your people to be human? This Is the second time I get poor servIce from this lady, and the coordinator who can't speak English at the cashier register, boy shes on a whole other level , huffing and puffing cause she had to actually do her job and get off her phone. As a Vice president of sales for one of the largest insurance and risk management companies in the world I pride myself in making sure all of my 400+ employees provide excellece in all that they do. My advise to management....hire people who want to work, who uphold your same standards, who want to grow as an employee and as a person. To be honest I was short on time and had to return some items with my receipt I might add and all tags attached from my purchase just a few days ago if not I would of returned to the dania point store. Honestly I probably with not be coming back here and I'll make sure I share this poor experience...
