Do not move in in apt 4 on the first floor at 311 Mohegan way. The radiator noise is too hard to describe, you won’t sleep a single night there. Absolutely useless talking to the property manager and the manager above him, they will not solve the problem but will try to make you pay even if it’s physically impossible to live there. Nobody is supposed to live in those conditions and pay almost $2k rent for a studio, even a fully renovated one. The noise is so bad, your floor and bed will shake. I didn’t sleep a single night last winter. You won’t sleep a single night even with the earplugs on. Absolutely unacceptable, don’t move in, you won’t sleep a single night.
If you try to break the lease, they will do everything to make you pay for the month and will be using the money you pay and supposed to still live in there to renovate the apt. The person who lived before me moved out after a year too. I think they know about this big problem but just continue to renew the lease with a new tenant each year instead of taking one summer and bleed the entire block. Awful,...
Read moreNew Review: Now I am living her for 14 years and can say that the service here is great! The super Gabe is very responsive to my requests and any needed repairs. He is friendly and professional. I will continue to recommend Palisades Gardens Apartments as it is affordable and has excellent staffing and response time.
Old Review: I have been living at Palisades Garden Apartments for 12 years. The super, Gabe Avila, is excellent and responsive to complaints, considering the workload, for repairs in the apartment and outside of the building that I am residing in, and the management. Any issues that have come up over the years have been addressed by management and in most cases with resolution. I would recommend this complex to anyone as other very old Fort Lee buildings don't seem to meet the right level of affordable rents, staffing,...
Read moreI have been living at Palisades Garden Apartments for almost 4 years. A transition in life that was a sudden change. I can’t say enough good things about it. It is a comfortable and very convenient complex to live at. It is clean, well maintained, and safe. Rick the property manager is always available and helpful. The biggest asset here is by far the head of maintenance Gabe and his staff. Any issues, repairs, or questions are always dealt with in a timely manner and resolved. Everything throughout the grounds of PGA are clean, and well kept. You can see the effort and hard work that goes into maintaining a large apartment complex. Thanks Rick, Gabe, and everyone who “does there job” to make PGA a comfortable place...
