Gabe's — Attraction in Fort Oglethorpe

We have shopped at this store since it opened on day 1 as Rugged Wearhouse! Since Gabes opened we have spent $1000's OF dollars and $300 to $400 at different times when they get the good brands of clothes and we travel from Cartersville to Cookeville This store & Pigeon Forge as well as the Knoxville store and both stores in Chattanooga and never had a problem at ANY of the stores Ever got to know the manager at gunbarrell and This store as well but we haven't seen her in the store to speak with her.. BUT I was so tired as have been going through cancer treatments & the kid with me was tired as well.. They have loads of patio chairs up front of the store I was weak & we was waiting on my partner to come to the front of the store with the buggy full we had picked out.. There was a short chunky blond haired lady come rolling 2 buggies of returns towards the front seen us sitting in the chairs started yelling hey yall need to get up right now.. We dont allow anybody to sit in our furniture the front was full of folks as she kept ranting it ws so embarrassing and I wasn't feeling good at all BUT we Got up... Went found my partner left the buggy full sitting there. BUT let me tell you this she was EXTREMELY LUCKY She shut up when she did because I have no chill when I feel attacked and I don't care to be told not to come back.. If there had been signage saying do not sit on furniture it may have stopped this there is NO signage what so ever.. I will go back BUT I will say this of she says anything out of the way this will not have a good outcome for her and NO that's not a threat at all... But she will get put in her place and know she needs to do better about how she handles telling others what to do or not to do quietly instead if embarrassing folks and her getting louder.. I have been shopping here since this was rugged warehouse I’ve never had an issue but tonight I did with that heavyset Hispanic girl working the cashier line November 14, When I first walked up I had a handful of items but I handed her a Christmas present for someone that was with me and I asked her to scan it and put it in the bag so they wouldn’t see so she just stood there and held it up & glared at me on purpose and luckily the other person didn’t see it Never once smiled never greeted me and was actually kind of rude to me but my debit card was locked and I had to go get my phone out of the car to unlock my debit card and then go back through the line to get rung up again and she felt she had the right to tell the other customers that I didn’t have enough money and that was kind of the last straw and I almost went and got the manager but I was so angry I told the other cashier what she did and it is now 5:28 pm and I’m in the parking lot writing this review. I’m in the store all the time and everybody is so nice and we get on fine but this girl is a lousy cashier and if I’m going to be treated like that I won’t shop the store anymore and I shop for my whole family. To scattered and barely any type of organization of products. Only the loosest system of women's men's children's but even some of those things don't end up close to each other. Mostly women's clothing. So if you like to hunt for treasures from seasons long past scattered in with tons of new odd or uneven clothing. There are some great deals buried somewhere in that acre of clothing. Always find something from teen memories or even just a few years ago. They're all new old stock I believe. Last stop on the train to recycle ville for some that stuff. Some hideous some cutest shiz you ever seen. Please excuse your boyfriend's/husband's from the entirety of the hours you can browse through different clothes. Let them roam with the option to stay near if too bored. I know some might like to check out the stuff at the CompUSA just nextdoor. I know my nerdy anti-social ness means I'm not comfortable anywhere but hey computer parts and full systems do get the blood flowing like no other.
