After recently moving to Fort Worth Texas it took several nail techs I had to go through to get to this location. My nail tech Kim was the best I’ve encountered in this city until today. She introduced me to a design called marble maybe 3 months ago and I’ve been loving it soo each session I would come get the same thing but with different colors. The most easy going non problematic customer you could ever have. One because I respect the service industry because I’m in it- I own a Medspa in Arlington Texas. Soo I get it.
Kim honestly is never pleasant when she’s working on your hands but I would just overlook it because she always satisfied me until today. In the middle of her working on my nails which look absolutely horrible today she says, I don’t ever want to do your nails again- so don’t ask for me because I’m not going to do them.😳😳 Soo I’m sitting there confused And even typing this still confused and I asked her politely was there something I did to her unknowingly that offended her and she giggled and said no.
Soo I asked her was she joking or serious and she confirmed that she was serious. Everytime I patronized the business I caused no problems and left tips no less than $20 for services costing between $65-150 every two weeks. I’m a brown skin black woman & i really believe that was her issue. Because I’m not ghetto, I know I didn’t do anything to offend her nor did I even argue back even though I was heavily offended and I wanted too.
Meanwhile, 2 Caucasian women walked into the establishment requesting multiple glasses of wine prior to being serviced or they were going to walk out and complaining about why the prices were soo high and why don’t they Massage legs beyond the knees lol 🤷🏾♀️ And they catered to them no problem… I’m not racist & don’t condone it. But moving forward I will take my money to a black owned...
Read moreI came here to get my nails done the day of my grandfathers funeral. I got dip on my natural nails. I loved the color and look. However, after less than a week they started to crack and some started to break off, so I called the salon and asked how long dip was supposed to last, to which I was told TWO WEEKS, and was told to come in that day to get them fixed. I told whoever I talked to that I wasn’t going to be able to come in same day because I had prior arrangements and was told to come in within the next day or two. I went in today to get them removed and get a refund because at this point over half of my nails had cracked or started breaking off. The person who took them off was nice enough, just quiet which I didn’t mind. However when I went to get my refund the person who was supposed to be helping me was extremely rude. She asked me why I didn’t come in earlier and I told her that I wasn’t able to and conveyed this when I called. She told me that the reason mine were cracking was because I asked for a “thin, natural look”. This is not true. What I said was that I didn’t want tips put on my nails and that I preferred dip on my natural nail because everytime I get tips, my nails seem to break off. I never once mentioned getting the dip powder applied thinner. She told me that dip nails are only supposed to last a week, and I told her that when I called their salon and asked how long dip was supposed to last, I was told TWO WEEKS. At that point she was clearly annoyed, pulled out a $20 bill, put it on the counter, and said that is your refund since you wore them for a week, and then walked away. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I will not be back, and I will no longer be recommending this salon to anyone...
Read moreAbsolutely worst nail experience of my life. Didn't have time to go to my regular shop for a fill so I came here since it was close. I had pink to white ombre nails with the ring fingers white glitter. They weren't even whatsoever. The "ombre effect" was supposed to be blended in the middle and wasn't. I wouldn't have minded it not being ombre had the lines been even at least. Payed for my nails and was asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I said no and she rolled her eyes at me. Got in the car, took a good look at my nails then went back in to get my money back. Not only did she refuse to acknowledge the horrible job she had done but also refused to refund me. When I asked for the owner or managers number she said she didn't know it. Then I asked when her supervisor would be in the shop next, she said she didn't know. All while having her back to me as she worked on another customer. The only other nail tech also refused to give me the managers number then sat in a pedicure chair and watched TV with her back to me. Even the other customer (the only other patron) told her to stop and pay attention to me because I was a customer and I wasn't satisfied with the service. She said she would only give me my money back if I got back in the chair so she could cut them off. Refused because she was extremely angry and I was not gonna have her touch my hands again. Also both nail techs refused to give me their names. On top of all that it took her over a hour to do the horrible job she did. Horrendous customer service and horrible nail sets. Went to Happy Nails on Western Center right around the corner and they apologized for something they didn't even do and went above and beyond to...
