You’ll notice that the park is immaculate, free from litter and overflowing with vibrant greenery. It’s a true testament to the care and effort put into keeping this space a paradise for everyone.

One of the highlights of Fountain Hills Park is undoubtedly the iconic fountain. However, a little tip: if you want to catch it in action, plan your visit on a calm day! The fountain is known to stay dormant when the wind picks up over 10 mph, so be sure to check the weather before you go. We made the rookie mistake of arriving on a breezy day, after waiting eagerly, we learned that the fountain was taking a break.
Regardless of whether you see the fountain, this location is breathtaking and offers plenty of spots to relax and enjoy the scenery. With its combination of art, natural beauty, and recreational activities, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful day out. Don't forget your camera—this picturesque location deserves to be captured and shared!
There are lots of street parking spots...
Read moreWho are these people who gave less than 5 stars? As far as small town parks go, this one is one of the best I have ever seen. From the public facilities, playgrounds, splash pad, and disc golf, to the retail and restaurants at the front of the park and the Veterans Memorial, it has everything one could ask for in a nice public park. But on top of all that… it has the tallest fountain in the world! I have visited Fountain Hills many times since my aunt and uncle moved here in the 90’s and it just keeps getting better! My husband and I love walking down to and around the park and sometimes hike up the trail next to the park, racking up the steps and the miles every time we are here. We have attended events in the park, such as Art in the Park and Pet Parades and competitions. Everything is always well planned and executed. We also love eating on the patio at Euro Cafe. Always a great view, good food and service. If you visit the park, be sure to check out all the great statues in and around the lake. All very well done and they include information about the artist and the subject. You simply can’t go wrong...
Read moreArizona heat is insane. There are not many things worth enduring the heat for, but a picnic with some snacks and ice cold drinks hit the spot when watching that fountain. So glad they were maximizing that height. A few visits ago I swore it could “fountain” higher than what I saw. Fountain functions vary upon environmental conditions. There’s a couple gas pumps in the area and a few food spots for long distance drivers. Parking is free. Restrooms are there. Dog friendly. Frisbee golf friendly. The ducks will crowd you for food. The crows squawk politely until you toss a few odds and ends. The crows really like unsalted peanuts. The mosquitos also really like blood so spray up if you’re one of the extra delicious ones like me. Fountain hills screams retirement life and I’m all for it. Gorgeous views and a relatively quiet corner of the valley. Please stay quiet and retirementey. I’d move up there in about 50-60 years. Someone save me a fountain-side spot. Those homes look...
