I entered a contest for floo-id yoga that popped up on my Facebook feed. A couple days later someone called me to schedule a free yoga class with a coupon code they were offering, I schedule the class with a girl named Cache (sp?), she had a hard time registering me in the first place. When I showed up for my free class they guy behind the counter, Kevin I believe, was so unbelievable rude. Basically shaming me for having the free class. I let him know I had forgotten my yoga mat at home (this is a common occurrence, I've been attending yoga classes for years, people get busy they forget to bring their own mats and every single place I've ever been to has plenty of mats for use.) He gives me this annoyed look and says "you could rent one." I ended up just leaving. It was clear I was not welcome there. I guess I didn't fit their ritzy Scottsdale vibe. Not true yogis at Floo-id Yoga. Do not waste your time because there are plenty of other welcoming places...
Read moreEver since I walked into floo-id Yoga in early Jan 2016 it has been my happy place and go to for balancing mind, body and spirit. An inspiring and friendly place from ownership to front desk to fellow yogis to all of the awesome teachers. You are always greeted with a smile and it is guaranteed if you don't walk in with a smile, you will most likely walk out with one. Although it has been a difficult year for everyone due to the pandemic, studio owner Beth Beary has done an amazing job pivoting the business and accommodating all members with virtual, outdoor and socially responsible smaller indoor classes. If you are looking for community, exercise, fun, and/or something a bit deeper, I highly recommend the floo-id experience. Come check out what happens when you connect mind, body and spirit, a perfect recipe for health, happiness and peace of mind. And you build friendships along the way, how can...
Read moreI highly recommend this studio. I have been going to this studio for about a month and the experience has been terrific. I used to do Bikram yoga many years ago, but it was just too hot and too long for me (90 min). I preferred practicing non-heated yoga for many years, and I have been trying to find a studio closer to me, with no luck. I saw Floo-id yoga while driving through that area, and decided to give it a try even though it was HOT yoga, because the classes are 1 hour, which I can handle. I loved each class I tried during my 1 week trial. The hot yoga is a condensed version of Bikram. The hot pilates class is a combo of Joseph Pilates method, mat pilates and HIIT. The Yin class is so restorative, it's a must for me once a week. I am a huge fan of the owner and all the teachers there. Go support this beautiful small business and support your...
