This is a long post but gives you an accurate description of the character working at Scottsdale Ferrari/Maserati
Ferrari Maserati of Scottsdale turned nasty lemons into delicious lemonade. My husband and I purchased a used Maserati from Carvana. After we purchased the car, we were notified it would be delivered almost exactly two weeks out. Two nights before delivery we were notified it was delayed and that it would be an additional two weeks without any explanations. We were unhappy but had no options. All communication was electronic and we had no one to answer any of our questions. After four weeks, 48 hours before delivery (and we came home early from vacation to meet the timetable for the car delivery) we got another notification 48 hours before delivery that it will be delayed again. Super upset, we spent several days trying to contact a human for answers and car location because we were ready to fly in and pick up the car. When we finally did reach a human she sounded about 16 years old and told us she had no idea of the location of the car or why it was delayed but that we could expect it in an additional two weeks and that she was super sorry. Same response every time, no answers just notified it would be delayed 2 weeks and that they were sorry.
We started to look into the Phoenix area for a used Maserati. We found one online located at a small dealer in phoenix. So excited, we took an airport shuttle to Sky Harbor airport. The dealer met us at the airport and drove us to the car. The car was in terrible condition, (electric seats didn’t even work). We were crushed. It looked nothing like the photos. This was supposed to be my husband's dream car purchase. We were told to take it “as is”, because he had 3 other buyers lined up. While standing in the lot, I remembered that Ferrari/Maserati Scottsdale had a newer version of the same car. It was 5:30pm in the evening and the Maserati dealer closed at 6. We were at least 30 minutes away. I called the Ferrari/Maserati of Scottsdale and Petros answered the phone. I asked him if he could please accommodate our late hour, also realizing we are NOT buying a new expensive car but a used vehicle. He happily said “Please come on over, I wait for you” in his heavy Greek accent . We took an Uber to Maserati and met Petros waiting for us at the front door with a huge smile and he already had the car cleaned and pulled around to the main entrance. Petros immediately offered to put us in a hotel next door where we stayed the night. The next morning he had his finance people draft all the paperwork while we stayed comfortable in the hotel. We still needed to get a new cashiers check with Maserati of Scottsdale as the payee. Our Phoenix branch location bank was an hour's drive away. Petros picked us up in his personal vehicle on his DAY OFF from the hotel and drove us to the bank as we waited over an hour for a teller to confirm with the California bank that our cashier's check had not been cashed electronically by the previous dealer. We finally made it back to Maserati and another buyer was interested in our car. We had yet to sign our paperwork. Petros took us straight in to see Megan, the lovely finance officer (who did not pressure us with anything) and we signed our paperwork (about 7 minutes) The time was 10:50 and we realized my husband had to teach an online class in 10 minutes and not enough time to get back to the hotel. Petros set my husband up in his office with wifi so he could teach his class. I was astounded. When my husband finished we drove home to Tucson still a bit dazed over the last 24 hour’s events. I just canceled the phantom Carvana car deal that was AGAIN delayed another two weeks. Never again. We will drive to your dealership when this car needs anything....

I purchased from the Scottsdale Ferrari Dealership a 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider / traded in a 2006 Ferrari 430 Spider – long distance sale – I reside in St. Louis Mo. The sales / negotiations started in the end of June 2024 and as of today I am still owed 1 item on the “We Owe” document, which they have refused to honor. It was agreed upon and I received a signed “We Owe” document that I would receive a 2yr Warranty & 2yr Maintenance Program backed by Ferrari North America and described by Ferrari as MAINPOWER15 WARRANTY. After doing a wire transfer and reviewing the documents I found out that the 2 yr Maintenance Program was not included in the documents. I was never told that it was not included, and I only found out by doing my due diligence and reading the documents. I don’t know if they would have ever told me, and I would have never agreed on terms of the sale without this Maintenance Program – (sounds like a little bait and switch). I called and ended up speaking to the sales manager Carl DeRiso and was told it supposedly didn’t qualify, but I was offered and agreed upon to be paid $5,000 to me for the equivalence of 2 years of maintenance at my local Ferrari dealership in STL. ($2,500 per yr). I received a revised signed “We Owe” document stating this agreement. The dealership has not made payment of the $5,000, stating the condition of my F430 trade in. I have acted in good faith through this entire process.
On 6-24-24 I texted photos of my F430 and received a text asking for additional info.
On 6-25-24 I emailed 2 documents 1) invoice of new tires June 2024 from STL Ferrari $3,300.
Between 6-25 & 6-28 I received a total of 4 offers (going back and forth with different options etc.) but it always included the MAINPOWER15 Warranty. The deal was agreed upon and I received a thank you text from GM Chad Morgan.
On 7-10 my F430 was picked up from STL and shipped to Scottsdale AZ Ferrari.
Why I mention this timeline, I NEVER ONCE received a phone call / text / email from the salesperson Pertos K. who I spoke to over many occasions; sales manager Carl D. spoke to 3 times or the GM Chad Morgan regarding / inquiring about any additional information of my F430. NEVER did they request additional info. All they wanted to do was to close the deal.
On 7-12-24 The dealership came in full possession of my F430 before shipping the F488 to STL. The acceptance of my F430 and then shipping of the F488 tacitly binds the dealership to the agreement, and they had ample opportunity to review my F430, and to now suggest that I am not owed the $5,000 is simply absurd, and it is fraud. FYI- the main concern on my F430 was a battery issue.
I had my attorney send a demand letter to Scottsdale Ferrari, LLC; PAG West, LLC & Penske Automotive Group. Inc. only to receive a zero response. I am to find out that by signing all the documents I have given away some rights and need to settle by arbitration – which is a complete joke and burdensome. I find it hard to believe that a dealership could put all of this in writing with a “We Owe” signed document and simply not honor our agreement knowing the odds of arbitration is in their favor. Buyers Beware - getting signed documents at Scottsdale Ferrari are...
Read moreI work as a car carrier and my experience with this dealership is absolutely horrendous! First and foremost, the salesperson Petros, who is listed on the BOL, had the audacity to abruptly hang up the phone and speak to me in the most disrespectful manner imaginable. The receptionist connected me to him not once, not twice, but a mind-boggling four times, and each time he spoke with such nervousness that his words were incoherent gibberish. After enduring this ordeal, I was then transferred to another salesperson named Rafel, who promised to gather all the necessary information and have everything prepared for my arrival. All I had to do was make my way to the reception desk. Mind you, I had called a full two hours in advance. However, upon my arrival at the showroom, there was absolutely no trace of any information about the car at the reception desk. It took a painstaking 10 minutes of back-and-forth before I was informed that the car was not even remotely ready for pick-up. To add insult to injury, I was then forced to wait an additional 20 minutes for them to retrieve it from the depths of their parking lot. Let me tell you, this has been, without a doubt, the single worst car pick-up experience of my entire existence. If, by some unfortunate circumstance, you find yourself with an order to transport cars from this dealership, I implore you to take all necessary precautions to ensure that you are not being swindled and that the car is genuinely being prepared for pick-up. Furthermore, I cannot stress enough the importance of avoiding this dealership altogether. Seek out establishments with more affable and customer-oriented salespeople for your own sanity and...
