BEWARE!!! THIS STORE TRIES TO CHARGE CUSTOMERS $2 EACH FOR MOBILE CODE SHIPMENT LABELS!!! THESE LABELS SHOULD BE PRINTED FOR FREE AS PER UPS!!! I generally use the store on Buckley and Smokey hill with no issue just run in put my packages on the counter have them scan my mobile code and head out very fast no issues and very friendly. But I needed to run errands by this store so thought I would save time and just use this location. Big mistake!!! Was in 2 time previously attempting to use a mobile code for shipments created online First time I sent just my son in and he was told he would have to email the labels and be charged $2 per label. This is not ups policy with a mobile code. Second time I went in with my son. Unfortunately I had a hard time locating the mobile code as my phone wasnât able to access online. Not a single employee at the store had ever heard of using a mobile code to ship and when I asked for help locating the code from my account I was told this service did not exist and I must be wrong. Instead of offering any type of customer service I was snapped at and told to email to the store and be charged $2 per label. I tried to explain multiple times the concept of the mobile code and the employee told me to show me where it says that! I had tracking number account number everything I was just unable to pull up the mobile code due to service issue on my phone. As soon as I left the store I was able to pull it up I double checked and sure enough shipping labels should not be charged when using a mobile code.
So today I went in again to ship made sure I had my Mobile code screen shot in case I lost it ran in to double check before I drug all my packages into the store that wouldnât be charged. Same employee was there. Same rude attitude. He scanned my code was very rude I again had to explain it was for ALL my packages his response was oh I have never seen this before!! I offered to show him where to look it up online in case he ever had another customer with the same issue he said nope Iâm good.
I can not be the only person to use the UPS website to create shipments and use the mobile code. I almost feel like this store has purposely not trained their staff just so they are able to charge the $2 per label. Had I not already brought my multiple packages in the first 2 times I would have left to head to the other store. How many times has this happened to other people? $8-10/person seems like this store is making a fair amount of money off of people in a hurry. I have to admit they were good enough at making me feel like I was in the wrong that I had to call UPS to make sure. So beware there is no charge for mobile...
Read moreThis was the most difficult Amazon return I have ever had. The employee who claimed she owned the store was rude and difficult. (I later heard from the actual owner that was mortified that her employee treated me so poorly and lied about owning her store was actually her store manager)She took a customer in the middle of my return. Offered me a $40 box and $30 saying if I purchased a box she had to tape it shut. to put 2 lampshades in the box and tape it shut $30 seemed extreme, $3 to print the label. I was actually willing to purchase the box and label and purchase a $6 tiny roll of packaging tape but the fake owner was so unbearably mean and rude I took my items and left. I have used this store for years and sadly the previous owners sold their store and the new management tried everything possible to make my return complicated, difficult, uncomfortable and impossible. I thought maybe it was me but walked the exact same order into FEDEX in Greenwood Village off of belleview and they were so helpful, taped my boxes up for free, printed my return labels for free and were incredibly kind and helpful had me in and out in 5 minutes! . FEDEX now has a new client for life. STEER CLEAR OF THIS STORE IF YOU VALUE CUSTOMER SERVICE- they need a lot of work admittedly from the owner they need a lot of additional training. I posted my experience on nextdoor and it seems the rude employee experience and extreme charges here I are a widespread trend. Do...
Read more2/14/18 I shipped a package at this, my favorite UPS store, and was greeted warmly, as usual, by Deepa, the owner. The shop smelled lovely, and I asked what sort of incense she was using, because I immediately recognized it as such. Deepa explained that this is an important Hindu holiday, and she was observing it by using incense in the back of the store. I'm so impressed that the shop was open and Deepa taking care of her customers on such an important holiday. It's just another reason I'll always bring my business to this UPS store. She and her husband look after their customers and their packages with great care and heart. I always feel better when I've spent a bit of time with Deepa. I was surprised to read the comment from a customer who said that the store owner wouldn't help her get a refund from UPS; this is absolutely opposite the excellent service and help that I've gotten from the store owner when UPS lost a package. Deepa took the initiative and processed a request for a refund before we knew the package had gone missing; she makes a point of checking to be sure packages she sends are delivered on time. We send important business documents all over the world for our company, and Deepa goes out of her way to find the fastest and least expensive way of getting our documents to their destination on time. Moreover, she treats her customers like guests in her home. I always feel a little better leaving the UPS Store than I did...
