This is one of my favorite places to go for a walk in Franklin--especially, on hot, sunny days. Most of the paved trail meanders along the Harpeth River all the way to the Williamson County Recreation Center, and it is covered in shade trees the whole way there. I'd say it stays 5-10 degrees cooler than the surrounding areas on a hot summer day. To the recreation center and back it is about a 5...

The review by Jerry is spot on. It is a great park for taking your ferrets for a walk, but most just walk their dogs here. There is a lack of bathrooms, so empty out first. A Long time family farm stand is here which is a great place to stock up on whatever is in season. Take a...
