As a devout conservative Christian septuagenarian couple, your artwork of a more spiritual nature is that which particularly appeals to us. We are very aware of our advancing age - how could we help but be, as our bodies remind us of that fact every morning when we attempt to get out of bed! We consider each day a new gift from our maker, and try hard to be worthy of that gift. Kindness, hope, patience, and love see us through our days together. As high school sweethearts more than sixty years ago, we married just only seven years ago. Our lives took different direction following high school, as many others also experience. Sometimes, I believe divine intervention has taken a hand in our lives. My husband was diagnosed with a serious, terminal illness just under two years following or marriage. We have good days, we have difficult days. Your churches (which so resemble the churches of our youth,) and your angels, of course, remind us daily that we are in this journey together - "til death do us part"... As a mental health, therapist working with people from all walks of life who come to therapy to seek help and healing, they find the artwork from Deann to be beautiful, peaceful, and often ask where to buy her artwork. I walked into DeAnn's gallery in Franklin while on vacation. I didn't have much time spend, as the rest of my group was ready to move on to our next destination. When I returned home to California, I couldn't stop thinking about her artwork. I found her website, and I kept returning to it often. My husband convinced me to place my first order. So, five months after walking into her gallery, I finally did. Angel Watching Over You in the glazed finish was my first piece. I have purchased a few since, including oned in the the glicee finish. I am currently awaiting the arrival of the my most recent purchase. I love every piece so much that I have considered a hand painted picture. I haven't yet, but maybe someday!
