Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Franklin

Went to grab lunch on the 4th. Used a $10 gift card and the rest on my debit card. It would not take my debit card so they grabbed my card and did the order inside. The lady came back outside and showed me what she did. It was not adding up so the manager, I assume, took over and re did the order using the gift card. The third time. The gift card wouldn’t take, so they put everything on my debit card. Everything was around $18. I only placed one order. By the time they finished “fixing” everything, they charged my card 4 times. 4 TIMES. And when I went back the manager said he would call me back in a hour to ask more questions and issue a refund. Why he could not handle it then I don’t know. I understand if he was busy. Follow up on your word or don’t give it. Never got a call back. The staff was nice, but they need to be more properly trained because they DO NOT KNOW what they’re doing. How do you charge a card 4 times? Someone’s not training their employees. Oh, and they also said they put the money back on the Sonic gift card because of them having so much trouble ringing up an order, but when my mom visited them at another time to use it, there was NO money on...

This sonic is maintained very well. The service is fast, friendly, and I've gotten what I ordered, with 100% accuracy, in many, many, years of visiting. The food is excellent and has always arrived hot and fresh. Drinks mixed to perfection. Love this location.

Important note about this particular location : the way you enter the location and exit can be tricky, so be careful when you are ready to leave. The exit that follows the natural flow around the building is strictly RIGHT TURN Only-they have multiple signs that are easy to see, but if your not paying attention it's possible for it to slip your mind - making a left can be dangerous at worst, cost a traffic ticket at best. It just makes more sense to drive past that front exit, continuing to round the building and return to the side access road which you used to enter, doing so gives the advantage of not only the ability to make a left turn into the main road, but you get a...

I've never really had a bad experience at Sonic until now. I ordered a "double quarterpound cheeseburger" and got what was only slightly larger than a slider. Had I known it was going to be that small, I would have gotten two... maybe even three... to match even a single-pattied burger elsewhere. I also ordered a "large" fries. What I got was also on par with a kid's meal. They were also cold and tasted horrible. Is there some kind of running joke at this location? I will eat at another Sonic from now on, because management at this one is obviously MIA.
