Coming to Downtown Franklin for the weekend, we stayed at The Harpeth Hotel. The hotel was great and all the staff were hospitable and kind. Our room was cozy and impressive with a great view from our balcony. For brunch, we ate at Ruby Sunshine and for dinner we ate at The Rutledge. Both were incredible with great food! The area is walkable and there is always something to see at every turn. The views that we saw coming in Downtown Franklin were breathtakingly beautiful. This entire area is a photographerās dream and completely magazine-worthy!
The only reason I gave four stars was for the environment. I think the most significant part of a travel experience is the way that you feel once you leave. The area is not diverse and unfortunately the overwhelming demographic made us feel āout of placeā. We have never felt that way in the Cool Springs area or in greater Nashville. In those places, we could expect a warmer, friendlier, and more diverse population. We didnāt mind the two nights we stayed here in Downtown Franklin, but⦠I am not so sure if we will be back.
This is, of course, my opinion and my experience. It doesnāt require anyone elseās agreement. Thank you! Hope you enjoy...

Look forward to going back soon, that is of course with an extra bag to haul home all those finds for...
