🔍 Review: Pulled up to Waldo’s in Franklin for the first time. Got the 4 Tender Box with all the fixings. Here’s how it really went:

🍟 The fries were the highlight. Fresh-cut, hot, seasoned just right—crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Straight up 10/10.

🍗 Tenders did their job. Crispy, seasoned, and dipped in that White BBQ + Tender Sauce combo, it came together solid. Not the best ever, but definitely worth grabbing again.

🥖 The bread? Mid. It had a nice toast on it, but let’s keep it real—it ain’t touching Raising Cane’s toast. No wow factor. Just there.

🥬 Coleslaw? Sharp and vinegary. Not terrible, but that bite was a little aggressive. Ain’t for everybody.

🥤 The lemonade fruit tea? Disappointing. Sounded good, but didn’t have much flavor. More like watered-down potential than refreshing.

💨 Vibes in the spot were chill. They got that wall full of beer cans, and the staff moved quick. Food came out fresh, no complaints on the service.

Would I go back? Yeah—but I’m coming back for the fries and tenders, not the bread or drink.

This is an experience that MUST be shared. I had planned to buy my guys lunch today as a token of my appreciation/ random act of kindness. So, we stopped in at Waldo’s off 96 in Franklin. I had never eaten at Waldo’s prior to today. Expecting an average, regular lunch, man-oh-man was I ever wrong.

My guys placed their order ahead of me then I stepped up, placed my order and started to pay for our food and Daniel comes across with a huge and expected random act of kindness and comp’ed our lunch. I was like wait-what!!

Also, he threw in some damn good cheese biscuits and a gift card for each one of us on our way out. It’s great when life gives you one of those unexpected gifts which restored my faith in humanity. There is still some real good folks to be found around this mean old world.

Now on to the food…it was off the chain good. Great wings Waldo’s has. Everything was hot, fresh and on point…you know how it is when the food you are craving is better than you expected it to be…that was our lunch today!!
