After visiting several well named jewelry stores and having felt pushed to purchase wedding bands that weren’t “right,” I was frustrated beyond belief. The second my then fiancé and I walked into Gold Thumb, we knew we were in for a different experience. We were greeted by the whole family, including puppy Fenwick. After a few questions, I was handed exactly what I didn’t know that I was looking for! As if that wasn’t enough, they were able to create a similar ring that exactly fit my engagement ring! The bonus? It wasn’t any more expensive than a ring at the box store, and is one of a kind! Then the guys ring……. My guy is suuuper indecisive and they had nothing but patience for him to find the right band. After several trips to try on different rings, we thought we had scored the one, but ended up deciding that it wasn’t the right size after getting home. Not only did they reorder the ring in a better size, but they offered to meet him outside of their business hours in order to ensure he received it before our wedding. I would give this store 0 stars if I could!! I went to this store because I wanted to go to a local shop and wanted to give my business to the community where I live. I am extremely unhappy about the way I was treated by the male owner of this shop. I brought in a nameplate necklace that is 22k gold to have the chain shortened a bit. The necklace was to be shortened from the back!! Instead he took the necklace and made it shorter from the FRONT!! Now the loops look completely wonky and unattractive. The loops are not smooth and the nameplate just lifts up while I’m wearing it. When I took it back for them to look at it the male was extremely rude to me and tried to blame the mistake on my previous jeweler. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE...

My fiancé and I first went to Gold Thumb with a picture of a ring she liked at another store in hopes that they could create it for us. They were quick to help as AJ stated that he could easily create a custom ring to copy exactly what she wanted. The ring turned out incredible and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We are amazed at their talent and passion. We returned a year later and by no surprise I found my wedding band here. We have always had excellent customer service. We love that it is a family ran business where they really take pride in their work and work hard to take care of their customers.
