L.L.Bean Freeport Outlet — Attraction in Freeport

I'm a very picky customer about good quality, I must say I'm more then pleased with L.L.Bean, to products to organization of the store/inventory to customer service. It's great, I have boots and slippers for four years now just starting to wear and tear. My slippery I wear basically everyday, starting to loose fur and what not. Traded them in for a new pair no questions asked. I couldn't believe it, just like that. And my boots well the bottoms were starting to wear out which is understandable, not going to last a lifetime and water started to leak through but I was in love with them and they're so comfortable and broken in but no good to keep if my feet were getting wet, they reused the top part of the boot, replaced the bottom brand new. Great, and unexpectedly got new soles and laces. I hands down couldn't be anymore thankful. I definitely look forward to making more purchases with a place like this. Have you have slippers or boots last four years and JUST starting to wear out? Probably not. I highly recommend them, in fact I told an older coworker in the shop how comfortable they are and durable, he picked him self up a pair. No more words needed. Again, I very much...

This wasn't my first time going to the outlet nor my last. But this had to be my best experience. We took the trip to freeport to celebrate our birthdays and of course llbean was on the top of the list of places to go to. We started at the outlet first to snag some great deals but to my pleasure I ran into the most friendly employee working at the outlet. Noreen was incredibly friendly, helpful and just a delight to talk with. She made it feel like we had been friends for years and made you feel welcomed and went above and beyond to take care of us. I hope she knows how much her kindness really made this trip my best experience yet. Also I ended up saving almost $200 off of everything I bought. The store was super clean and organized and the rest of the staff were friendly as well....

Bean makes great gear, and offers great customer service. Their prices are always fair if a little on the high side, but this flagship store offers tremendous variety for anyone interested in the outdoors. However, I do you find it odd that the flagship store, in its hometown, does not carry much at all in the way of any special size items, such as wide shoes or tall garments. While there are a small handful of such items, and the stock varies pretty wildly week to week, it is consistently poorly stopped and I am constantly referred to customer service or the website - again, in the flagship store. During a recent trip their outlet ended up having more wide options than the main store. I would love to give it five stars but this baffling exclusion prevents...
