This store is my kids favorite stop in Freeport village. Now that they added in store made chocolate, ice cream and drinks, there is something for everyone. Only reason I gave it 4 stars it the way store is set up, the area with chocolate display is so tight , if there is more than one person at the register, you can't get by. Definitely not handicap friendly.

Stoped here on a whim not realizing there was a location here! This place is great, the employees are very friendly and helpful! There are meny different chocolate flavors to choose from, they also offer non-dairy alternatives. if you in the area i definitely recommend stopping by!

I love Lindt and typically spend $50-$100 on each visit. But this location is terrible.

This weekend I guess I wasn't shopping fast enough. I got my free sample and was looking around for maybe 2 minutes. The saleslady says to me "Is there anything in particular that you are looking for?" and I smiled and said "No, not really, we've been shopping and bought quite a bit of carbs already, so I'm just looking..." (I had bags from Wicked Whoopies and Coastal Popcorn). She just stared at me looking irritated and then turned her back on me. Didn't tell me about sales, didn't tell me about new flavors. I said "I hope it's ok that I'm looking?" No response. So I left. I guess I'll just stick to the Kittery Store where they're so sweet and helpful and load me up with...

The retail section had a welcoming atmosphere.

But there's this older man who works at the drinks and chocolate bark section that treats customers with grumpiness and unfriendliness. Saw him give the treatment to other customers.

I wanted a hot chocolate but I asked about alternative milks as I have dairy intolerance ( and I'm sure there are other vegans out there who would avoid cows milk). He kinda just huffed at me and then gave me this look when I asked him about whether they offered any other milk alternatives.

I really liked the shop and of course I like Lindt but his attitude put me off buying anything for my mom as I was looking to get...

Lindt is located slightly off Main Street in the Freeport Village Center.

We entered in the front which is an ice cream shop and walked through to the back for candy. As I entered I heard, does anyone want a sample, why yes I do!

There were over 20 different flavors from dark chocolate to raspberry to coconut in bins in the middle of the store. I picked one of most flavors. I love how creamy Lindt chocolates are. They weigh your purchase at the register, it is $23 per pound. There were many other types of packaged chocolates.

For a gift or a treat for yourself I recommend stopping in to the Lindt...
