The place has become worse over time. I have been a regular customer for over four years now, but the recent addition of an unprofessional and discourteous cashier has made the experience unbearable. The cashier lies without any qualms and seems to hold on to outdated desi typical beliefs that enable her to evade topics when you catch her on point. Despite driving for an hour to get my groceries, I have been disappointed lately as they have shut down their restroom for no apparent reason. This happened to me two weeks ago, but I didn't pay much attention to it. However, it happened again today when my wife needed to use the restroom with our 7-month-old child. When I asked, the cashier told me that it was closed, claiming that they didn't have the keys and that the manager had taken them with her. And, just ten minutes later, the same cashier went to the restroom herself, leaving me completely mad!!. They seem to disregard the California Department of Public Health and the Restroom Access Act. It is highly likely that the business will suffer due to these individuals, and I will no longer be a customer. Perks of appointing desi cheap mentality workers who seems like dont have any idea about a basic customer service and woman needs! categorically denies access for child...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wouldnāt even give this store a star. Once I ordered samosa chat and what they gave me? Some Chana and a samosa in leftover paneer gravyš©. Not only that They sold me 4 Indian mangoes @$4:50 each. The mangoes were sour never ripened and tasted bitter too...overall not worth a single penny. I was left with 2 mangoes since we tasted the other 2. I took those to the store and requested the main lady SWAPNA to do something (literally, didnāt expect money back) or give the managerās number. She denied both. She Said sheās helpless. I silently went on to do my shopping and since there was a huge line I thought I can give my review about the mangoes and I did that. This lady walks to me and asks me to leave the store. She also asked me to not make any neuisance I was shocked and speechless and left the store. So as customers we shud think about why she had to ask me to leave the store when they are not cheating public? I was not a shoplifter I was not an abuser even then that kind of treatment to me just for a prompt review. Definitely thereās something fishy. So decide for urselves before buying. My kind request to all please forward in other groups. Also friends can I complain somewhere since i havenāt done anything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place used to be a hidden gem of Fremont 2-3yrs ago. Not any more! Prices are creeping up. Greens and veggies are sold at higher prices now. Always crowded. Produces are not tagged with prices, its written on a chalkboard as a list in a corner. Good luck finding the price of an item which youāre trying to buy. Is it even legal not to post prices properly? Anyways, staffs are loading and working while the customers are there, absolutely no practice of social distancing. Also staffs these days are rude. Donāt expect friendly response if you need oneās attention.
Also, this store did price gauging with a certain products when pandemic hit last year. I have observed this for at least first 6 months. I know because I buy those Indian products which are available at only a few stores. Terrible business practice!
Also, they never answer their phone. They actually pick up the phone, and then hang up right away. How rude! I come to Fremont occasionally, just to buy some Indian exclusive items. It would be nice to know if they have those in stock before heading.
I would give this place a negative star if that...
