Called 45mins in advance and booked an appointment as soon as I entered saw a sign saying 20% tips for 30% deep tissue, billed first with $2 extra for using card. Clean room, clean linen except the ceiling had water marks and the music was on and off with a little disturbance. The therapist arrived and started straight with the oil with no bodywork, the light was bright for a massage room, 20mins in to the session she was still working on the back with same strokes and as light as a Swedish, asked to focus on the lower body and same light repetitive strokes..I asked whether I can have a change of therapist and she said everyone is busy, but I guess there were only 2-3 therapist in the whole spa..she gave me hot towel wipe on the back and asked me to turn and started with light head massage and rushed the legs in 5mins and called it over with no trace of oil on the upper body. Also complained that its very hard to massage a 5.6 athletic guy 😑..she did not even use a hot towel on the front legs and forearms and rushed to with the drape cloth…Wasted Sunday relaxation…The point if going to a non-kinky spa is in to have a good relaxing massage if that is not present, its not worth it..I still tipped her 20 and told her she has to learn more…2/10...
Read moreIt saddens me too write this review but I must share. Started by paying for the massage before it was given to me ... not a problem as it was late around 7:40pm ....I went in for a hour deep tissue massage expecting a decent massage and was shocked by my masseuses (LINA) whom was amazing and gave me a great massage. The issue occurred when it was all over and my masseuses waited for me at the front. I let her know that I would love to tip her 20% of the bill which she then stated that I should tip more and pointed to a sign that stated “ you should tip 40% on deep tissue massages” I told her that I will keep it at 20 and she said next time you come you should tip more....
Lesson to be learned... this masseuses could have gained a client that would have came to her on a weekly basis as I do a lot of weight training which would have been thousands of dollars over years span. But she gave that up by being rude and asking to tip an extra 20%. If you guys think that people should be required to tip an extra 40% on a deep tissue massage you should charge more for it rather than putting your business at risk and being rude and asking for more money.
Never ...will I come back to this...
Read moreHorrible place!! The worst massage ever!! Me and my boyfriend went in thinking, this could be great. The reviews were mostly good. And seemed like a pretty decent place when you walked in. But as soon as we were laying down the ladies were pounding and sticking their elbows in our backs like they were trying to tenderize meat! Neither of them listened to us when we said not to rub us there or not to rub so hard. And to top it all off as we were leaving they stopped us and asked if were going to tip them. Which we did in the rooms. And by the way it's very rude to ask for a tip. Especially after already spending $200+ dollars there. She had the nerve to run out after us all the way to our truck, screaming! Saying she couldn't find the tip. And wanted more! Just so freaking RUDE if you ask me. And not to mention, made the massage so painful that it left my boyfriend limping as we walked out! I have never written a review before. But the audacity of these ladies and the painful so called massage. I think that others need to know. So they don't experience the same horrible treatment...
