I took part in Ray P. Signing event and have many criticisms I hope legends comics will find this useful as the event reflects poorly on them.
Provide the "celebrity" a handler to keep flow of people moving. I often saw one person talking to Ray for 20+ min. When the topic moves to what burger place is better, it's time to move on. Provide the public with an accurate signing time. This signing was scheduled for 12-4, but really went on for 12-?. If people know to expect a later time, they can adjust schedules. Professional communication. People are going to have issues with a system that is not willing to make changes proactively. These people are not trolls, they are aggravated fans who become agitated, address them respectively, or you will lose them. Be honest. When my # was called in the chat, that meant I was ready to stand in line in the store, tell people that's what it means, I, and everyone around me, believed it was our turn to meet Ray P. Tell your audience. Provide wait times, and be flexible with people's schedules. When (Andy) got aggravated, he just started running through #'s without any opportunity for those people to get a 2nd chance. Shunning people away who were waiting all day, because a small minority of people "troll" is no excuse. Be better prepared with markers. Seriously? You ran out of markers? For a signing?
I will never step foot in another legends comics because of this event, but that doesn't mean I want you to fail, but major changes need to be made to prevent another fan from coming to the same conclusion. I hope you make those changes. I owe you this much as someone who's been a regular since Legends was located back in FashionFair. So long old friend. Do better.
My original post still holds true, so I left it below as a memory

Read moreUnprofessional service. DO NOT BUY GAMES FROM THIS PLACE. Bought a game that was SEALED by them saying it worked, but didn’t. When asked if it doesn’t work they said we can bring it back in. Tested the game on two consoles and it didn’t work on either. Took it back and said I can only get store credit and it wasn’t even 24hrs. The GM Dominic was rude and had a smirk when I told him I want my money back since they sold me a broken game THEY sealed cause it quote, “worked when we had it”, yet they don’t have a console in store to test the game cause they “sold all their consoles” and ask a “employee” to take them home to test them. Sounds ridiculous doesn’t it ? Asked to speak to the manager and DOMINIC said he is the manager and this is his store and to “get out if you don’t want store credit”. I asked to speak to his BOSS or COPORATE repeatedly and he didn’t want to call or give me his boss’s number saying “I can give out personal information and I am coporate” it’s on the website but it isn’t! Finally after 20 minutes he called him and he gave us the refund. WOULDN’T RECOMMEND. Couldn’t believe this happened doesn’t...
Read moreWorst customer service I’ve ever experienced. My husband, son and I walked into the store. My son was looking through the books. I stumbled upon the $3 comic books and decided to pickup one. It was hot in the store and I was using the comic book in my hand as a fan. I was going to purchase this comic book. But as I was fanning myself The man behind the counter says “ma’am” puts his hand to his neck and starts to move it back and forth. Suggesting a stopping motion. I was completely shocked by this and replied back by saying “excuse me?” And he goes “could you not?” I said “could I not what?” Then reply’s “don’t do that to the book.” I was in completely in shock at the way he expressed this. It was completely unprofessional. This was a 3.00 book. And even if it wasn’t there is a professional way to tell a customer the rules. The lack of personal skills was absolutely astonishing. I will not be returning because of his lack of customer service and professionalism. This incident Extremely saddens me too because I love to spend more at local businesses. But this just...
