I had an amazing experience with Acori. I had to remove my wedding set for a medical procedure last year and, having gained so much weight over the years, my ring set no longer fit when I tried putting it back on. I am not at all a jewelry wearer, and jewelry stores in general make me nervous. My wedding set is the only important, cherished, expensive piece of jewelry that I own. During the consultation, Chris was so warm, friendly, and helpful in describing what the couple of options I asked about would look like both in service and in price. After partnering with their on-site jeweler, Chris pointed out two other issues with my ring set that I did not even know existed. He placed my ring set into a magnifying device where he could post on a screen for my husband and I to look at the issues that were found. I ultimately decided to have my ring set resized, soldered, and the issues repaired that were recommended. (For reference, it is a platinum wedding set with three diamonds.) My fiancé and I brought my vintage wedding set passed down from my grandparents to Acori. We are from Lafayette, LA and heard about Acori on a Houston based radio show called the Micheal Berry Show. We could not be more satisfied with the quality of service and workmanship! Lulu was so accommodating to us. We had the rings appraised, cleaned, re-ponged, and polished all within 24 hours! We asked for the ring to be appraised and Lulu told us they would be able to do it and would be about 2 weeks. I didn’t want to leave my rings for that period of time since we were visiting from out of town. So we ended up leaving with nothing done to the rings. As we were driving down the street I got a call from Lulu and she told us they would be able to get everything done by the next business day! I was so elated and told my fiancé to turn the car around! They took my rings and worked their magic on them! I loved the look of my rings before but afterwards I was over the moon of how polished and clean they were. They also made sure that all the prongs on the rings were a 100% with the age of the rings being 56 years old 8 of the prongs needed repair. My husband and I drove for an hour to come and see these people after hearing about them on AM radio. I was having a problem with my wedding set and the quality of the diamonds and had become very dissatisfied and disenchanted. After speaking with Connie she wanted to have the ring cleaned which took a good amount of time because of the equipment involved in the build-up that was on my ring. We mentioned maybe changing out diamonds to correct whatever this problem was. After much more discussion we left to have lunch and give the ring more time to be cleaned. Her husband, the gemologist counseled us as well to where we were able to understand exactly the diamond dynamics going on with my ring. They continued to say we just want you to be happy with your ring. In the end they cleaned my ring so very well that we are no longer upset with the appearance of the ring and love it. It reminds us of when we first got it and how beautiful it was. They didn't try to sell us other diamonds to put in, they knew the truth was in the cleaning of the Ring. They were completely honest and genuine and they did not rush us. We thoroughly appreciate their help and would love to give them our future business.
