This apartment is an absolute disgrace and should be condemned rather than rented out. The office staff is not just incompetent—they are completely useless. They never answer calls, offer zero assistance, and when you finally get a response, they’re clueless about everything. Handling paperwork is beyond their capability; the lease agreement and the online portal never match, creating endless confusion and frustration. It’s a disorganized mess that screams negligence.
From the moment I stepped inside, it was clear this place was a nightmare. The apartment was filthy, untouched by any cleaning service, with spiders crawling around like they owned the place. The cockroach infestation was horrifying—these pests were everywhere, making it impossible to feel even remotely comfortable. Calling this place a home is laughable; it’s more like a glorified dumpster.
The noise levels are intolerable. It feels like you’re living right on the street with how much outside noise seeps through. To make matters worse, the upstairs tenants might as well be stomping on your head with how much sound travels through the thin ceilings. It’s a constant disturbance, day and night, making sleep nearly impossible.
If that wasn’t bad enough, there’s absolutely no safety here. The main entrance is broken, meaning literally anyone off the street can waltz into the building without restriction. Living here feels like an open invitation to disaster.
To top it all off, I lived in this nightmare for only 10 days and was charged over \
6,000 for choosing this dumpster. The fact that they have the audacity to charge such an absurd amount for such a horrific living experience is beyond infuriating. For staying here for just 10 days, I ended up paying more than \\
6,000, which is absolutely outrageous and completely unjustifiable.Even after my account was closed, there were still discrepancies in the paperwork. For a monthly rent of \
1,800, how does the prorated rent for 8 days come out to \\
1,300? To rectify this, I had to go to their office 4-5 times, and all they could say was to reach out to billing—even though they knew exactly whom to contact and how to resolve this issue. For people leasing with Central Square, God bless your stay there. One small suggestion: whatever the front office employees say, take everything in writing. It doesn’t ensure that it will be done, but at least you’ll have proof for your reference.
This apartment is nothing but a scam. It’s dirty, unsafe, unprofessional, and completely unlivable. Avoid this place like the plague—your sanity and safety depend on it. Renting here is one of the worst mistakes you could ever make.

I appreciate your response, but it is disappointing that my concerns are being dismissed. I vacated after just 10 days due to the unacceptable living conditions I encountered. From day one, I found spiders and cockroaches in the apartment, which should have been addressed before move-in. The community gates remained broken for an extended period, leaving the building entrance unsecured and posing a serious safety risk. The lack of action to fix this fundamental security issue raises concerns about management’s commitment to resident safety. Additionally, inconsistencies between the lease and the portal caused confusion, requiring multiple office visits, only to be redirected to billing without resolution. The front office was unhelpful, failing to provide basic necessities like a mailbox key and ignoring noise complaints. Worse, my inspection document was either lost or disregarded, with billing claiming no record of it. Despite these numerous issues, I was charged over $6,500 for a 10-day stay, which is beyond unreasonable. I have already paid the fine, but I want to emphasize how unjust this experience has been. Is this truly how you believe tenants...
Read moreI've moved into this complex when it was new and over time this complex has been sold/bought by 2-3 different companies. Things didn't improve only got worse with every owner. Management doesn't run the complex well, one has to point things out to them in order for things to get resolved. Some entrance doors don't work right 90% of the time, marijuana smell is constant - even thought it's against the law to smoke marijuana, management won't touch this issue at all. Hallways aren't always clean, only area that is cleaned daily, is near the office and other areas are neglected with pet fur, feces and urine. Garage gate is broken half the time, cars get hit and complex doesn't do anything about it - even though they have cameras to catch the perpetrator. People speed exiting garage. Last December, My SUV got hit and i've notified the office - Joys response was "have you considered parking somewhere else". The entrance into garage is narrow and many cars have gotten hit and left without notifying the other party. Again, they have cameras and only things they say is we'll look into it. What that means is (file a police report and don't bother us). Neighbors smoke weed/marijuana and it gets into other units. When neighbors are noisy after hours, nothing gets done to resolve the issues. Fitness center is constantly getting water damaged (out of service for 3 weeks or longer). Dogs barking out on the balcony and walked without a leash. This complex has noisy water pipes (meaning pipes knock and that disrupts sleep and day time. They said that can't be fixed. At one time, from Sept 2023-January 2024, Stairwell #6 door wasn't operational. At one time, they had a maintenance man that had anger issues and he stocked my sister and my daughter. They were aware of this problem but didn't take any action to terminate him. Only last year he was either terminated or was transferred to another property. Again, negligence regarding safety of others. Management ignores a lot of issues. There is a law for quite hours and ones enjoyment but a lot of nights they are violated and management won't resolve these issues. A lot of things left to list. My final thoughts, wouldn't recommend moving here! I ended moving out of this complex because of listed issues and more... had neighbors that too moved out due to ongoing issues at this complex. Some were even prepared to take them to court if they didn't resolve their balance. This complex tries to collect money from former residence because they failed to maintain safe, quite and clean environment. Again, if you're in one of these situations, you can sue them by taking them to small claims court or if you got injured because of their negligence, hire a lawyer. Recommend to send them e-mails only as this would be proof of your complaint. I've sent a lot of e-mails to them and have record of proof. Lastly, they started to enter premise under the disguise of creating a work order that resident didn't create. Note: they started to charge for community up keep fee of $75 or more and they have garbage...
Read moreIt’s almost 2024 and this complex has a new owner but the same leasing and maintenance personnel. They have helped with the changes and are an amazing group! Maintenance goes above and beyond, and I am grateful for that! Even helped me on a holiday weekend that I was cooking for.
Many new updates and I was nervous but I like them. I can open my door with my phone or adjust my thermostat. New parcel locker, which is so easy to use and I’ve had no issues.
Come check out apartments and don’t be afraid to say I sent you, I have been here a long time and love it!
Living here at Central Square for 3 years, I was here from the start with first Property Management. The current Property Management then took over and is very helpful and friendly. I have worked with Joy and she is always eager to assist me and make me feel welcomed. Gerald is a great guy he is always there for any issues I may have or just to say hi and ask me how I am, I appreciate that. Dillion helps me with any maintenance issues I may have in my apartment. He is very helpful, and friendly and I appreciate he gets things done quickly.
I love my location it is central to many things and very close to the Dallas tollway. My first-floor apartment has a gated yard and it was one of my top important things as I have an 80-pound dog. When people come over they love my apartment as well as the amenities. The main front office has a large area with seating, booths, TV's and then there is a lounge area with couches, pool table and TV's. There is also a beautiful pool area, and an amazing business office with multiple rooms within it. All apartment complexes have issues and none are perfect but I think ours does a great job. I even have had family members rent here and again we enjoy being...
