May Foot Spa — Attraction in Frisco

Worst experience we’ve ever had at a foot spa. My wife and I went for the 60min reflexology this past Saturday and were greeted promptly when arriving. We asked for the 60min reflexology and the woman that greeted us seemed like she didn’t know what service we were asking for. She then proceeded to talk with another employee for approximately 10 minutes before putting us in a room (mind you I got the impression they were upset we were getting the reflexology and not a full blown massage even though the name of the business is May foot spa). Once in the room they filled the foot tubs with lukewarm water and we waited another 20 minutes before anyone showed up. The same lady that greeted us came in and started on my wife and said someone would be in 5 minutes later to start my service. Well 30 minutes later I’m still waiting so I get up and leave to run a quick errand while my wife finishes. At this point while I’m walking out of the door another employee runs to flag me down saying she would complete the service which I obviously decline. The lady working on my wife said she would offer her a discount for the debacle but of course that doesn’t happen. She charges my wife full price for the service not once, not twice but 5 TIMES. As my wife was trying to pay the lady kept saying that the card wouldn’t go through...well it did, 5 times. The problem was there was no paper in the register so no receipt could print. Additionally my wife said the therapist didn’t even work on one whole side of her body. My advise is avoid this place! Very poor service and a complete lack of organization...

Please make sure they have someone minding the desk before they work on you. My husband and I scheduled a 90 minute couple massage for 8pm. Massage started at 8:15pm and was interrupted several times (too many to have counted) from them answering the phone, the door and minding the front desk which was fine but I would think the right thing to do then was to extend the time to make up for the numerous interruptions... not only did they not make up for it, they cut the massage off by nearly 30 minutes. At 9:20 pm...they were done. In all honesty, she applied great pressure and it could have been a great massage but I never got to enjoy a smooth/continuous and the full massage I paid for. My advice is to make sure they have front desk help or go by yourself (don’t go as a couple or with a friend to tie both of them up). In short...was NOT IMPRESSED WITH...

My experience at this spa was extremely disappointing. the front desk lady insisted on payment upfront which I didn’t mind, but when I asked if paying now would cover everything she said yes….only to then push me to pre-tip as well. So it was clear she didn’t understand or care about my question. The fact that they expect a tip before service is a huge red flag. Her aggressive and pushy attitude made the whole experience feel more like a money grab than a professional service. scammy...
