Yesterday I went to Sai home foods and I had very bad experience. I bought a sweet item called Jangri and I am so shocked that it was fried in the same oil where meat fried, especially fish. I can't even take a bite of it because of very strong fish smell. I usually don't write any bad reviews even the food is not tasty thinking that I didn't liked it but others might like it, but what I experienced is completely negligence. Do they think people don't have senses???? Also the lady that we spoke at the counter is not at all welcoming, not even a hello or smile on her face. She sounded very rude by giving one word answers which is very disrespectful. Forget about the taste, everyone will have their own taste buds and there is no complaint about that, but cooking food with some sense and behaving with some manners is a minimum what we can expect right. Man, who will reuse an oil where meat was fried to make a desert, it's mind blowing. This is my 5th bad experience with Sai Home foods. Now I thought it's high time to post review. They sell Sweets and I appreciate the sweets taste and they are so good and they are bringing our favorite food that we miss here in US. Their price used to be sweets 9.99 per lb since then I was purchasing from them. I had two bad experiences like when I came home and checked weight. They were not even 1 pound. They increased the price to 11.99 Per pound now. They don't have weighing scale to measuRe. They are simply counting 4 pieces for half pound and 8 pieces for 1 lb .. it doesn't matter if they decreased the size of the badusha, Kaja or laddu etc.. today I got only 12 ounces of sweets and i paid 11.99 per pound. They are selling per pound without a scale machine to measure the weight. Manager said they ordered it now. Don't know how many people got this kind of treatment so far. So I suggest.. please do check or ask for scale before buying sweets. It's not about Money .. it's about Honesty... Food industry.. on honesty they can succeed.. it's just my review on sweets only...or per...
