Curries N Cravings — Restaurant in Little Elm

Hey Guys, Alert 🚨

Yes, This restaurant used to be good... hence, I order from them once in every week.. But recently, It is a total disaster.. Last time ordered Briyani & ended up having “Just Rice” literally “just rice”... called & told, they re-sent that order...& this time Oh boy, Way old Paneer ... 👇🏼

My Second time bad experience from Curries & Cravings.... Ordered paneer Manchurian & we received manchurian made of pebbled paneers... my 5 year old has tried eating a paneer and I am waiting for the aftermath to show up... Glad my LO told me “Mom, I cannot even bite it. It’s soo hard”... then I tried to taste it and God, I ended up cutting it with knife which was actually hard to cut as well.. looks like its made out of way old, refrigerated for way tooooo long paneer... you get it right??? If we refrigerate the paneer for too long, it will end up becoming rock hard & glassy... Look at the color of the paneer😠... Chef changed or I don’t know what happened... yet another restaurant that lost its consistency after sometime... Yet another “Once upon a time a favorite restaurant” ruled out 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

& The front desk lady who takes orders is very rude.... Her attitude & the way she talks is so, unimaginably rude. If we tell her to go through the order or confirm the order we placed, she shouts & hangs up on us... Very Inappropriate for a business !!!

Its High time they notice the flaws & correct or they definitely need Gordon Ramsey to...

South Indian Andhra Home Made Lunch - 5 stars - we subscribed to their weekly option of 3 Veg and 2 Non Veg along with delivery - On time delivery and taste was excellent every day

Indo-chinese - approximately 3.5 - 4 stars - some items tasted good; others were just OK. Ordered Gobhi manchurian - very good; Veg noodles - OK

Chai - 5 stars

South Indian Breakfast - 3.5 stars - we ordered mysore masala dosa and poori with aloo curry; they provided peanut chutney (I expected coconut chutney - thats the usual - wife doesnt like peanut chutney - so couldnt enjoy much of the dosa), ginger chutney (this could be less sweet) and sambhar. Quantities were very good (5 stars). For poori, the curry they gave was aloo besan curry (potato gram flour) - we make it at home once in a while but I would expect a normal dry aloo curry (similar to a masala dosa). Taste was excellent for all items provided; 3.5 stars only due the mismatch of items.

I saw some a review about cleanliness of the place - I have been there almost 4-5 times - I never found the place dirty. There could be some tables that were not cleared but the place was neat. I hope everyone is posting real reviews and not just a bad review by a competitor. The purpose is to give proper feedback to the restaurant so they can improve and provide us with more awesomeness in years to come!

These people really know how to burn bridges. I've been there a couple of times before. I actually like the food. Most times I order online. This weekend I called my order in.

2 chicken Tikka masala 1 butter chicken 1 paneer Tika masala 1 chicken biriyani 1 paneer biriyani 4 garlic naan 4 plain naan

Just like that. The man repeated the order to me exactly. Gave my husbands name since he was picking up. Silly me because that was not at what they gave my husband.

We weren't charged for anything we didn't get so we made do and took the 'L', wasn't even going to bring it up but then they called me several hours later, I missed it. So when I finally saw, I rang them back, I figured they realized their mistake and were probably apologizing and leaving it there. So I said it, quite casually. The guy who answered immediately said he would call back, which he did right away. Then proceeded to reel off the incorrect order they gave my husband and get belligerent. I told him, it's what they sold me but it wasn't what I ordered. I reminded him I was returning their call. They called me. Apparently it must have been for something else. But I certainly wasn't staying on the phone who I never even...
