I apologize for speaking negatively about a company, but I am beyond disappointed and feel I need to share my experience so others don't waste their time and money at Spa Mansion. I bought a 70 minute couples deep tissue massage. I have had over 150 professional deep tissue massages, so I know what to expect. 1st the lady didnt even know what a trigger point or knot was, how to find it, or how to treat it. She said she never heard of what I was saying (as she was lightly massaging my back) I did request someone strong during my reservation, but was told it was not possible... I get who I get. I have knots ALL over my back and they are EASY to find. Finally she began to find a few and I had to expain to her to use her elbow and press for release. For me, without getting release on my trigger points or knots during a deep tissue massage is very frustrating, not relaxing at all and just wasting my time. Then.... 60 minutes into the massage they turned on the lights and said they were done. I said "no, I paid for the 70 minute massage". She responded that they reserve 10 minutes of the time for us to use the room to get dressed. WHAT ????? WHAT ????? Has ANYONE ever had this type of RIP OFF anywhere else?? I personally have NEVER heard or experienced ANYTHING like this. I did NOT see any postings to expect this as one of their policies. I DID see several TIP policies (that should of been typed put as more of a request). Then to put salt on my wound my husband to me he have the ladies $20 each.🤯🤯🤯 I think his massage therapist must of loosened a screw in his head. Does anyone know if it a legal practice to charge for 70 minutes, only to do 55 or 60 minutes?? Also, in my research, a massage therapist is suppose to be trained to be able to find knots and how to release them. I feel this Spa Mansion is using "Deceptive Practices". Those are...
Read moreI'm still wondering how this place is still open after so many bad reviews about tipping and service.
My husband booked a surprise 90-minute massage for $110. While I was having the massage, he went to do some shopping.
The lady who gave me the massage barely spoke English. She kept asking me something, and I didn't understand. The massage she gave me was not a deep-tissue massage! I have had several, even in Asia, and I kept telling her she could press my back harder. I wasn't there to have a relaxing massage; I wanted her to remove the knots!
The rooms need some refurbishing because they are dark and they look old, and I was put in a room next to the reception desk, so I could hear quite a bit of noise... which again wasn't relaxing.
Here comes the best part...
So, once I finished, I got dressed and sat in the waiting room waiting for my husband to come pick me up and pay for the massage. The masseuse was waiting beside the desk looking at me for the tip. I didn’t have my purse I only had my phone and I said to her my husband Is coming to pay. She clearly didn’t understand what I said so she continued to stare at me while I was looking at my phone.
Eventually, my husband arrived, and he asked how it was, I said it was ok, but it wasn’t the best and the woman kept staring at me to give her a tip. He was signing the receipt, and he put $10 as a tip. The owner or manager not sure what he is, pointed at the gratuity sign and said I should be giving a minimum of $35!
My husband said no my wife said it was ok and not exceptional as your sign says. Tipping is not mandatory its optional and if the service is not great then you technically don’t have to tip. He signed the receipt and we left. Never...
Read moreI genuinely don’t understand how this place is still in business. I do not recommend it and will NEVER return. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
From the moment we arrived, there were red flags. There was a significant language barrier, which we tried to be patient with, but it quickly became a problem. We saw multiple couples walk out of their sessions, and when we were shown to our room, we noticed the sheets and pillows had not been changed from the previous clients. This alone was unsettling and incredibly unsanitary.
I specifically asked my masseuse to only focus on my back — I repeated this request three times because she kept looking at me confused. Despite my clear instructions, she repeatedly exposed my lower body and even pulled down my underwear without permission. I told her no multiple times, and each time she giggled, ignored me, and continued touching areas I had asked her to avoid. Her massage was also extremely rough, and when I asked her to be gentler, she laughed again instead of adjusting her pressure.
I ended the massage early because I felt violated, disrespected, and completely unheard. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience turned into one of the most uncomfortable and upsetting situations I’ve ever encountered in a professional setting.
To make matters worse, they added services without our consent — they brought in hot stones halfway through the massage without ever asking us, and then tried to charge us extra for it at the end.
This place is unprofessional, unsanitary, and completely disregards personal boundaries. I walked out feeling disturbed and upset. Please take this as a...
