If I could give 0 stars, I would The worst experience I’ve ever had with any repair shop. I came to uBreakiFix 18 days ago with a non-working laptop. I asked them to diagnose the issue, and they charged me $80 upfront — for nothing! After 3 days, they told me the laptop wasn't charging or powering on. That's exactly what I told them when I dropped it off — so what exactly did they do? Turns out, the person who handled it was a mobile phone technician, not a computer technician. He changed the battery without knowing if that was the issue — then admitted he wasn’t qualified to work on laptops. If that’s the case, why did he even touch it in the first place? They wanted to return the laptop without actually fixing anything. Later, they told me a computer technician would look at it — but not until two weeks later! That’s unacceptable. Not once did they contact me to update me on the status. I had to call them myself after 13 days just to find out that the computer tech couldn’t fix it either. So why did I even bring it here? I came to a "professional" repair shop and left with a worse experience than if I had just done nothing. When I picked up the laptop and asked for a refund, they refused. The mobile tech told me they “can’t do anything” and literally said he doesn’t care and that I can “do whatever I want.” Unprofessional, careless, and totally incompetent. Avoid this place at all costs. You’re better off throwing your device in the trash than bringing it here.

This review is staying a 1 star. I took my Pixel to this shop to have the screen replaced because half of the screen was not picking up touch. After I picked it up and took it home I removed the "opaque" protective sticker that they left on the screen and found a dead black spot and a horizontal line running across the screen from it. As you can see in their reply to this review, I was told to take the phone back have it fixed again because they have a 1 year hassle free warranty on their repairs. They flat out refused to replace the broken screen. All I did was take the phone home and remove the protective sticker because I did not have a new screen protector at the time and wanted to be safe. The shop claimed that I must have damaged the phone. I explain that the only thing I did was remove the sticker and found the new screen to be defective. When I asked to see the details of the warranty, which were not explained when I picked up the phone, they said that they don't have the policy in writing to prove to me that the issue was not covered by their warranty. The rep made me and my wife feel like we were trying to scam them, which is ridiculous because I was the one that ended up paying for a broken screen! DO NOT take your Pixel to this shop. Just ship it straight to Google, it will be cheaper anyways.

I came to this place and there was two workers I came to this place twice first I met a girl and she is very polite and have very helpful and I love to talk to her she has tried to send the paper. They requested even though it's not working but still see very nice and try very hard to help me if you guys need to fix your phone or anything come to this place they are really sincere and have you all out. So the other day I came and met the guy but I didn't see the girl that she did for me so I see this guy and he oh so really helped me so I said this place is they really work hard to help people I will recommend those people who have problems on the phone or anything will come to this place...

I never really write reviews but this? I really want to now because it was such a disappointment. The reason why was cuz it was a 30 minute drive and i went to this place cuz all the other ones nearby are closed. I went there to get my ps5 disk drive check and possibly fixed. Apparently the website I used to make the appointment said the place would give free diagnostics to give me the accurate price for repair. I even asked one of the staffs in the support chat and the person stated they would give free diagnostic to give me the accurate price so I was like bet…. until I got there. I told the worker my ps5 problem to have understand my issue and so he can take a look at my ps5 as well. If u wanna know my issue, it’s: the disk drive would not take my disk, would not eject my disk out and not read it. But it would later work after waiting for a bit. However, he didn’t take a look and just flat up said it’s a broken disk drive and said I need to pay 180$ which is fine but I want to be sure if it’s actually a broken disk drive and ask if he can open it up but he said he would charge me 54$ plus tax which is outrageous and dumb as hell since it said they would check it for free!!!!! I was like never mind and went for my second purpose for my visit: to clean my ps5 since its actually pretty dirty. But 100$ plus tax which is outrageous since ik damn well it would only take an hour or even less and it ain’t complex since I see people in yt do it but I want to leave it to the experts here not me since ik my goofy ah me would mess up. So ya, I’m very disappointed since it was such a waste of my time, outrageous pricing and the lie of free diagnostics. Btw, i found out my disk drive is not broken since it still apparently work but only work if I do not leave my disk inside while I turn on rest mode on my ps5. Beware of going here...

Brought my laptop in because it wasn’t charging correctly. We paid an $80 fee upfront before any diagnosis or work was done.

Tried calling them 3 times for an update. They never answered/returned our call. Had to drive to the location which is not close to us (about 30 minutes away) just to get an answer. The guy working in the front had no idea what was going on and kept telling us “he’s not a technician” so he didn’t have any updates. He gave us the email of the technician. We emailed him, he got back to us saying it’s the battery or the charging port.

Okay cool, we’re getting somewhere.

They replace the battery. I go to pick up the computer and they’ve changed the usb-c cable from my original one. The guy at the counter, who isn’t a “technician,” was so indifferent about the whole situation. He brought out every cable they had and I just chose the one in the best shape.

Next morning, my wife is about to go on a zoom meeting. I go to plug my computer in, and it’s not charging. I call uBreakiFix back and leave a voicemail (it was before they were open). I hear nothing back after their opening hours. So now I have to go back to the physical store AGAIN. The “indifferent, non-technician” is at the counter. He says my charging brick is bad. So was it misdiagnosed from the beginning? It seemed to work before I left it here. Now it’s not working at all.

All in all, my battery was replaced. I spent $80+$193 for that. Then another $30ish to get my charging brick replaced from Amazon.

Not the worst thing in the world, but our experience with this business was...
