[BEWARE] If I could pay to rate this place lower than 1 star and still have this review show up I would. We purchased a rug for $449 after a 10% discount because of a subtle stain on February 21st, 2015. After 2 months of ownership the rug started to come undone on one end. When we called back to explain what was going on they asked us to send pictures to verify. They apologized and said to bring it back AN HOUR AWAY FROM WHERE WE LIVE so they could fix it. Obviously this would and should have been covered EXCEPT that their policy is that if you get a discount, for whatever reason, it is considered "As Is" and you have no warranty or coverage. Since the damage is beyond repair they said, in so many words, there is nothing they could do except offer us $40 off of another rug. So essentially they are willing to give us a discount of 10% and a big f.you because we bought a "discount" item. What makes this worse is that they waited until we left the rug there to call us with the crap news and the "manager" was available to tell the person on the phone to tell us no but they're weren't available to talk to us in person, FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. After seeing that there would be no customer service I asked if business was so good that they only need people to buy there once and I was told " I really can't answer that. " Of course you can't Bri. Thank you so much for teaching us a $449 lesson in customer service. When we went into the store the first time, Matt Jackson helped my wife and I find a nice rug that was in the design, color, and size that we were looking for. Matt was very willing to pull rugs off of the racks and put them on their show floor for us to see, and everyone was very willing to help us. The store has a type and size of rug for anyone as the selection is very large and broad (from small children's rugs to runners to traditional to outdoor and everything in between). The rugs appeared to all be of great quality and none appeared to be "cheaply" made, regardless of the price-point. The prices appeared to be reasonable for all of the rugs that we looked at. The store also carries higher-end rugs that are hand-knotted that I would assume would be of a higher quality. We bought one rug that was a little too small so we decided to take it back. For the second purchase, the manager assisted us in finding a rug that we saw online that was in stock. The return process was smooth and there were no issues. They were very eager to make sure we were satisfied with the second purchase. We would by from them again. We recently purchased a new home with an open floor plan. We needed a large rug in the living room space, one in the dining space and one at the entrance. We wanted complimentary rugs not matching, but had no idea how to make it happen. I'm so happy we went to Rug & Home. They have an impressive selection. A huge thank you to Margaret Marshall, design consultant, who understood our vision. Besides helping us narrow down our options, Margaret explained which rugs were more durable and easiest to clean, plus she kept us within our budget. After we chose multiple options, the staff moved all the rugs to a show area. Here, we could see how well they worked together. Margaret changed the lighting, brought chairs in that were similar in hue to our furniture and brought in wood floor sample to mimic ours. All of this was done to assure that we were happy with our choices. Next, I wanted couch pillows so the staff took one rug upstairs so that we could shop for complimentary options. The staff in the furniture/home good area are also helpful and Neriah made shopping for pillows fun. Best of all, if we don't like our choices, no worries, Rug & Home has a 7-day return policy.
