Went for the annual hot air balloon festival. It is a large venue, but parking is limited and there is only one gate for entry. On the day of even Perry parkway gets quickly and completely clogged. It does not help that police block the access from W Diamond street, you can only enter from N Frederick Ave. Park somewhere at the begining of W Diamond or in Gaithersburg Square and walk. Hot Air balloon event was mediocre, with huge crowds, only few balloons and a lazer show which was underwhelming to say at least. Balloon rides for $25 - quick lift off and landing in same spot. Balloons did not lift away and just stayed anchored in place for visual appeal whole night. Impossible to get food due to crowding. There there multiple bounce castles for kids at $20 per kid for unlimited use. Would probably...
