&pizza — Restaurant in Gaithersburg

I came across &Pizza on my way to another store in the Gaithersburg Square shopping center, and I must say that I'm GLAD I did! I was greeted by a nice woman named Chrissy, who opened the door for me and asked if I was a rewards member & then helped me to quickly sign up by entering my phone number after I told her that I wasn't. Since I told her that I was in a hurry, she gave me a menu with lots of mouth watering selections, and began to quickly give me a run down of all of my options and also informed me that I could watch the monitor and check out some of additional information there as well! I ended up getting their "WHITE" pizza with pepperoni and garlic drizzle. Next time when I have more time, I may try their "Dirty Bird" pizza with chicken, buffalo sauce, crumbled blue cheese, and more! Overall, I was extremely impressed with the cleanliness, excellent customer service from everyone, the music selection, rewards system, and the VERY TASTY PIZZA! So I would definitely recommend this restaurant! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! I would give them 10 stars if I could because their customer service was outstanding, and to me, the way you treat your customers is extremely important with customer retention. I’ve been waiting for this &pizza to open for what seems like foreverrrrr. The inside is absolutely beautiful!! I love the pink and the green, such a unique location! The staff were amazing, I’m loving the DIVERSITY and the energy here!! They were all extremely nice and patient with their customers. Chrissy was an absolute boss at the register! She was getting bombarded with food delivery people and customers trying to pay. Then this gangster old guy tried to pay for a pie with a hundred dollar bill lmao, It was epic. From Chrissy’s reaction to the old man just casually slipping out hundreds. I was dyinggggg haha. Then after he left, the server froze and It wasn’t letting me pay, but Chrissy adapted and over came !!! She got me signed up with the rewards and I got a free cookie while the server started working again. I had an awesome time and an even better time eating my amazing pizza. Thank you Gaithersburg...

Ordered for pick up, 1 hour waiting for my pizza and knots, my order was sitting on the counter getting cold for 20 minutes (I didn't realize it was mine). I asked where is my order, staff realized mine was on the counter. Why?? I explained food was no longer fresh and they offered to redo it, while there was already a backup of orders, and new ones coming in. It was going to take 30 more minutes. We asked to cancel the order, because waiting 1 hour for a pizza is ridiculous. I still have not received a refund, because I didn't take any photos of "proof." I wasted an hour, left empty handed, and they kept my money. Worst &pizza experience yet. Very disorganized staff, pizzas were given out of order, the tickets were all over the place, they need to get better training. I saw people come in to order, saw the chaos, and left. All of this happened on a Sunday night, only 2 staff members were there....
