Muddy Branch Square — Attraction in Gaithersburg

I LOVE MY M.B. GIANT... Most of the employees r extremely friendly & go above & beyond for ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS! My only problem is with Mgmt. They berate their employees in front of customers. This is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I understand no ones perfect, but theres a time & place to discuss issues, but to humiliate employees where EVERYONE CAN HEAR IS DEPLORABLE.. Most esp whn mgmt is yelling at an employee for doing his job. Too many cooks in the kitchen is the best description of whats happening. This particular employee was being yelled at bcz he was completing a task given to him by another manager. This mgr was complaining & yelling abt, (in front of othr custs. & employees) She litterally yelled at him & said tht shes the boss & didnt care what anthr mgr asked him to do bcz she needed him to shop back items in the cart, which only had vry few items in it. This is/was completely ridiculous, unnecessary, unprofessional, & humiliating. Not jst to the employees but to the poor choice of mgmt. Re-training of your mgmt wld b a GOOD START. I WAS EMBARRASSED not jst for the employee, but for your VEY POOR...

Went to the Giant in Muddy Branch Square to get a prescription filled (because my regular pharmacy didn't have the script I needed filled in stock but this Giant did), I was told to pick a number, take a seat that I would be called when it was done. They have a board that displays what number is up next, when my number came up, they didn't call on me so I went to them and told them, "hey, that's my number meaning my script is ready why wasn't I called?" I got asked twice for my name and birthday and had to produce my ID and was told oh it's not quite done yet give us a few more minutes. The store itself is fine. Its the pharmacy that sucks. The major shopping experience here is the grocery mart Giant foods. Giant Foods has been a reliable "ole faithful" as a grocery pillar. This giant has unfortunately decreased in its value in a sense the staff has changed and so has the memorable experience and reliablilty that was associated this grocery store. This place as it stand has increased in price but unfortunately does not have the virtue as it once reigned supreme with. Still worth looking for deals which typically you will find maybe once a month!. I shop here approx 2 three times weekly. So i will say when the deals are available you will appreciate them!.
