First I would like to say that itās hard to find a nice couples massage place. I came here with my girlfriends for a baby shower day and have been here for my birthday that my husband surprise me for back in December . The service was so amazing for birthday that my body need some areas work on again and so was my husband. we came in thinking we book our appointment with the same people. We had one out of the two at the appointment. Wish they would had clear that up when we book the appointment and we could have maybe did another day. We both could tell after our service was done and it felt Like nothing had been work on our bodies like how it was a couple month back . Here we are day 4 and my body doesnāt feel like it was work on right and my neck area is so tight . I truly though maybe it was because it was the last shift of the night or maybe they didnāt understand we were looking for a deep tissue message but the amount that was spent we shouldnāt be feeling like this our bodies. I had personal called to speak to the manager about our experince and I had told them at the front desk at our check out about our problem and The lady said she would put in a note and the manager isnāt here right now . I called the following day and I spoke with the Manager so she called herself. I explain everything to her about our experience and she said that she needed to call her boss and run down there for me and with them and that she would get back to me. I kind find it interesting that she would need to call her boss and discuss on it if she was the manager of the facility. she reached back out the next day and basically told me that the boss is gonna give a $25 credit put onto the account and that they apologize for the experience and that thereās nothing more that they could do with that and that thatās the best that they can provide for us due to the experience that we had. I had ask that I would like to speak to the BOSS personal and explain to him about how my husband and she said that heās too busy between the multiple different stores that he has which doesnāt have time to talk to customers and that she is the one that handles the situation. I did explain to the young lady on the phone that thatās not how you truly run a business. The service that was provided for myself and husband didnāt do anything for us and he answer was there is nothing more I can do for you . This is truly in my eyes a money rip off. She also told me bag the BOSS doesnāt have time to call me or talk to me and hat she is the middle person . My husband and I truly love everything of this place and location but since the so call manager and boss think itās ok to take people money and not provide the service is truly wrong. Now we have to find a spot to fix the problems that they couldnāt fix and they took over $300 for a service that wasnāt even provide for us . The phone was left off as I will reach back out to him and see what else we can do and I can explain to him again about the problem but thanks for coming to our Spa and not much more we can do for you . š”š”š”. I did tell her again that isnāt how you run a business and that he need to call me. I doubt that phone call will be made to me personal and here we are trying warn you guys that this place doesnāt care to fix the problem. The day before our outing i told a staff member to call them to confirm because i had not received any form of communication from Woodhouse. So we called and confirmed and we alerted that we were down one employee, noted. The morning of the appointment we got a text to complete the forms. Asked what each person likes to drink, type of pressure for our swedish massage.
We arrive before our appointments, all papers completed. The store front is really cute with unique fun items to buy. The group was rushed back to change and was told to do it quickly because they were ready. We all rushed to change into a robe and then immediately each name was called out to go with their " staff". This was a group outing, and i turned around and everyone was gone. Positive note the massage was with Meryl and she was excellent (the high point of the visit). Next Pedi; they have very limited color choices- ok. The pedi was just average!!! AND $75 !!! FOR WHAT???? Then brought back to a sitting room to dry with water....but WHY did you ask what i like to drink if your just giving me a glass of water?
I will tell you i was also going to come as a group quarterly here, as well as send my boss here as a gift. BUT NOT NOW!!! I will take my business elsewhere!!! Also this am we have to call them as one of the girls foot is raw and bleeding from the pedi last night.

So glad Stephanie was free on a Friday evening. Had an amazing massage and it was the perfect way to start my weekend after a busy, somewhat stressful week! Very calming and relaxing, just the right pressure and love the customization. I have been Stephanie's client way before becoming a Woodhouse client. In fact, I followed her here. The funny thing is, I found out where she worked through my aesthetician who was in an establishment that was further out, but I am picky, so I usually go to the same people to provide the service even if the drive was inconvenient for me. Now, I no longer go there, but have both massages and facials at Woodhouse.
I am not really one to try new people for services unless they have raving reviews or a friend recommends them or if I am in a new spa out of town. I avoid feeling underwhelmed or like I've wasted money and that is my solution to that, having tried various places.
I am glad that my friend who comes to Woodhouse as well recommended some Woodhouse staff for services. I now have not only massage packages, but a facial package at Woodhouse. Love savings as much as possible so I go for packages as long as I am happy with the service.
For massage, I recommend Stephanie. If she's not available, try Janice (stronger pressure) or Olivia. For facials, try Andrea or Fariba. All of them are pros at what they do! The front desk staff are all so pleasant and calm. I remember one of the FD staff here, her name was Lily, and she was chatting with me singing praises about WH and said she "loves coming to work." I remembered that cos I said to myself "Wow, not many people say that about their job. Love that! I love coming here too." Though space is on the smaller side compared to some spas, overall vibe and quality of services is what you would want in your Spa. No wonder my friend who lives in Ellicott comes all this way!
