Review Date: July 25th, 2016 Calico Cat is located on the ever-popular Seminary street in Galesburg, IL. Offering gifts, odds and ends, candy, and a vast assortment of decor for your home. I visited the Calico on my first trip to Galesburg with a group of friends. They showed me around the town and we ended the trip at Calico Cat. It has a large amount of cool things that, if money weren’t an issue, I would have all over my apartment. The staff is beyond amazing and they just offer so much! Candles, fudge, coloring books, wall art, socks… the list is almost endless. I have gotten Espresso fudge each time I have gone back and it is fantastic. Be warned though, they have a lot of cool stuff, but they are also pricey. But that is the price you pay for a niche gift shop with so many cool things. Sadly, I do not really have many photos from inside the store. But I will try and update with some as I go back.

The gifts range from classy and serious to whimsical and comical. There are some sports-themed items available as well. For the sweet tooth the store features a case of individual gourmet chocolates and treats. If you're needing a special gift, unusual item, or just a general gift, Calico Cat is your place. A very nice store ran by some very nice ladies.

I visited the Calico on my first trip to Galesburg with a group of friends. They showed me around the town and we ended the trip at Calico Cat. It has a large amount of cool things that, if money weren’t an issue, I would have all over my apartment.

I used to love this place been going there since i was a teenager 40+ yrs. Till today when i was followed out and asked about walking out with MY lil coIn purse (that i did originally buy there) but that i carried in in plain site and that they do Not have in stock....soooo maybe before accusing someone of stealing they should know their inventory!!! Not shopping there anymore very insulted am not and never have...
