When I first moved to Tennessee I heard glowing reviews about Oak Grove Farms. Coming from California where produce was so amazing & fresh I was hesitant to believe it could be as good here. I went to the market for strawberry season & was blown away. Not only was the market adorable but they were the best berries I’ve ever had. The local products and other local produce was also exceptional. It had become a staple in my families life and a place my kids and me enjoyed going to weekly.
Now I have the honor of working firsthand with Zach & Kyndle and they are the real deal. They care deeply about providing the best experience for their customers from their team, to the products they keep on their shelves to having their produce picked fresh daily to bring customers the highest quality fruits and veggies. They will forever get a 5/5 from my fam for their business, the products, the quality of fresh produce, the customer service & their amazing photoshop abilities to promote the food trucks....
Read moreWear a mask. It’s the law. You are operating in a business in Sumner County. There is no way you can check a customer out without getting within six feet.
I won’t be back until you are protecting your customers!
Response to response: If you have employees with health issues, you should absolutely be protecting them and your customers. It is mandates with no backbone for enforcement and public policies without commitment that are allowing this virus to spread through our community. Will it take the illness or death of a member of your team to drive home this point? Your acceptance of exceptions to the rule make your complicit if someone becomes ill. Have you at least installed plexiglass screens to protect your employees? There are other solutions that can provide a next step solution. Your response makes me very sad. Until this situation is resolved and maybe for time beyond that, I will drive further to find a market that has the safety of their customers and teammates...
Read moreMy little family has been buying OGF strawberries for 5 years and can’t get enough every season. They are the tastiest I’ve had, and now I’m enjoying the newly discovered market in Gallatin for the homemade jams! I LOVE this farm and the honest, loving labor it clearly is for the couple who own it.
My only disappointment is the price point on the goods. Produce-wise it’s pretty standard, but the homemade and refrigerated goods are way too pricey to be a weekly mainstay which is a big miss for local families. One tray of lasagna was $40. A Ollipop soda was $5 A CAN, I just bought 2 for less than $4 at the grocery store.
I’d love to see the market be more reasonably priced to keep it a true market where groceries can be bought on the regular. As long as they keep up the good work on strawberries and corn I’ll keep coming back, just not as often...
